3 Lexium MDrive REACH Rethinking motion control automation Robust integrated motors reduce machine complexity, size and time-to-market in many stepper and servo motor applications. Compact, robust and cost effective, Lexium MDrive products feature phase stepper motors integrated with microstepping drive, controller(1), and internal encoder with hmtechnology for closed loop performance. Pulse/Direction User-selectable operating modes step/direction, speed, velocity and torque deliver unique features for a wide range of applications. This system provides encoder feedback to the user. Communication is RS-422/485. Motion Control Integration of a fully programmable controller and I/O makes this a stand-alone motion control solution for use without a PLC. Communication is RS-422/485. 4 MDrive Linear Actuator All-in-one linear motion systems Leading all-in-one integrated motor technology combined with linear mechanicals delivering long life, high accuracy and repeatability. These innovative linear motion systems integrate high torque phase stepper motor linear actuators with mechanicals and electronics. Two linear shaft styles are available: Non-Captive Shaft and External Shaft. The high quality, precision rolled lead screws used with MDrive Linear Actuators are manufactured from premium grade stainless steel with optional Tefl on coating. 6 TM Speak easy Simplifying machine networking with integrated motors Compact integrated motors deliver numerous benefi ts including reduced size, cost, design and assembly time. Machine networking is also simplifi ed, with the availability of MDrive products in a variety of communication protocols including: CANopen, EtherNet/IP, ModbusTCP and Profi net. CANopen MDrive CANopen products support CiA DS301: CANopen Application Layer and Communication Profi le, and DSP402: Device Profi le for Drives and Motion Control. Designed for distributed control with a simple 2-wire interface, these products use standardized device profi les for interoperability with different devices. EtherNet/IP, ModbusTCP and Profinet MDrive Ethernet products are adapter class devices capable of explicit or implicit messaging. MDrive products are ODVA tested and conformance compliant, ensuring a common, consistent standard between vendors and products on networks with EtherNet/IP and Profi net, as well as ModbusTCP. Connectivity is simplifi ed using RJ45 connectors and CAT5/6 cabling, while standardized IP addressing eliminates the complicated wiring and programming of other multi-drop systems. 7 Drives, Controllers and Motors MForce Drives with integrated controller option Compact MForce microstepping drives incorporate the same patented technology and programming as industry leading all-in-one MDrive Plus integrated motion products, but without the stepper motor. Product versions include: Step / direction input drive only Motion Control drive and programmable controller MForce drives have up to 20 resolution settings from full to 256 microsteps per full step, an extended operating temperature range and advanced current control. MForce MicroDrive Big power from a compact product, 3A RMS / 4A peak per phase output current from a package measuring only 1.7 x 2.3 x 1.3" (42 x 59 x 33 mm). The +12 to +48 VDC input voltage range can control a wide range of motors. MForce PowerDrive A broad +12 to +75 VDC input voltage range and high, per phase output current of up to 5A RMS / 7A peak deliver enhanced performance and speed. Hybrid rotary stepper motors Enhanced hybrid rotary phase stepper motors are available in four fl ange sizes: NEMA 14 (1.4 / 36 mm), NEMA 17 (1.7 / 42 mm), NEMA 23 (2.3 / 57 mm) and NEMA 34 (3.4 / 86 mm). Single, double and triple stack lengths satisfy a wide range of applications, and are matched with our microstepping drives. These pow er ful, low in duc tance motors deliver higher torque output than conventional hybrid stepper motors. Holding torques rang e from the NEMA 14 at 10 oz-in to 1090 oz-in with a NEMA 34. Optional en cod ers, with index mark and a broad range of line counts, deliver closed loop feedback.
