3 Setup Located inside the coin door are the coin and ticket meters, volume up and down buttons, service button, and test button. You can lower or raise the volume by pressing the UP and DOWN VOLUME buttons or set the volume through settings. To test play your game without adding to the coin meter, press the SERVICE button. To enter programming options, press the TEST button. To navigate through the menus, press volume up and down to move to different options and press test to select that option. Coin Tickets Volume Up Service Volume Down Test Touch Screen - Calibration and Cleaning When you have installed your game on location it is a good idea to entering programming and adjust the calibration. Doing so will ensure reliable operation at that location. If at anytime you upgrade the software to a newer version you should also enter programming and perform a calibration. When cleaning your touch-screen monitor it is important to never use a ammonia based cleaner. Any non-ammonia based glass cleaner can be used to clean the screen. Always spray the glass cleaner on the cloth or towel and then clean the touch-screen. 3

4 Setup - Programming The settings of your new game are crucial to the earnings and repeat play by your customers. So how do you find the optimal settings for your location? Begin by looking around your game room to find comparable games. The 3 main factors in finding a comparable game are: Cost of Game (purchase price) Average Play Time Game Type (video skill, play value redemption, quick coin, merchandiser, etc). Once you have narrowed down your game room and have found comparable games, review your current settings on these games. Then refer to the game manual to determine how to change the settings if necessary. How the game rewards the player: The number of tickets given in the bonus prize is determined by the cost to play the game and which type of bonus you have selected. The types of bonuses are: Small = cost to play in cents Medium = Twice the cost to play in cents Large = Three times the cost to play in cents The number is then rounded down to the next multiple of 5. For example for a quarter game it will have 25 for the small bonus, 50 for the medium bonus, and 75 for the large bonus values while a dollar game will have 100 for the small bonus, 200 for the medium bonus, and 300 for the large bonus values. If the cost of the game was.22 cents then the software would pay out 20 for the small bonus, 40 for the medium bonus, and 65 for the large bonus values as it would round down the values to the next multiple of 5. 4

This test displays images to check the monitor for proper operation. This test plays sound samples. This test checks the hard drive s file system. This test will advance the meter once. This test will dispense one ticket. This test shows you settings on the I/O board. This test resets your computer testing the built in watch dog pcb in the computer. Screen Calibration Depending on the touch screen used the instructions for doing your screen calibration will be different. Follow the onscreen instructions to calibrate your touch screen. 7

8 Monitor Assembly Replacement The monitor assembly (monitor + touch screen) is attached to the front cover. You will need to remove the 6 Allen screws circled in red below to remove the front cover. The cover will slide as shown below. Disconnect the power, touch screen USB cable and VGA signal wire before completely removing the front panel. Once removed, lay the front cover on its front and remove the 9 nuts that hold the monitor assembly. The monitor assembly can now be removed. 8

18 WARRANTY POLICY I.C.E. Inc warrants all components in new machines to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the period listed below: 180 days on Main PCB s, Computers & Motors 1 year on all LCD monitor panels 90 days on all other electronic and mechanical components 30 days on all I.C.E. repairs and parts purchases I.C.E. Inc shall not be obligated to furnish a warranty request under the following conditions: Equipment or parts have failed through normal wear and tear Equipment has been subjected to unwarranted stress, abuse or neglect Equipment has been damaged as a result of arbitrary repair/modification Products will only be covered under warranty by obtaining an I.C.E. authorized RMA #. To obtain an RMA # please provide I.C.E. tech support with the game serial # or original I.C.E. invoice # and a detailed description of the failure or fault symptoms. I.C.E. Inc will assume no liability whatsoever for costs associated with labor or travel time to replace defective parts. All defective warranty covered components will be replaced with new or factory refurbished components equal to OEM specifications. I.C.E. Inc will cover domestic UPS ground, or comparable shipping costs during the warranty period. International or expedited shipments are available for an additional charge. To obtain credit defective parts must be returned to I.C.E. Inc, at the customer s expense, within 30 days. After 30 days a 15% re-stocking fee will apply to all returns.
