7 Interoperability between IFM Systems and NFC Mobile Devices How does the Public Transport and Mobile Handset industry coordinate standards? WG 8 will serve as the public transport voice to interface with IFMS architecture Mobile Industry Forums: NFC Forum launched Public Transport group in 2013 GSMA is developing NFC handset test book To guarantee interoperability, the specifications for NFC mobile devices must match specifications for the Public Transport infrastructure / IFMS
