1 WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY PARK 2014 END OF SHOW REPORT NAME OF SHOW WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY PARK DATE OF SHOW May 28 to 30, 2014 VENUE Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Tokyo Big Sight) ATTENDANCE 44,740 visitors EXHIBITING COMPANIES 117 companies THE EXHIBITION WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY PARK exhibition and conference is the leading wireless communication technology event in Japan, where professionals in wireless communication technology / R&D industry gather. This was the 9th presentation demonstrating next generation wireless technology, embedded technology, and 4G/LTE infrastructure, etc. As a specialized exhibition in wireless industry participated by professionals, WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY PARK brings carriers, manufacturers, and technology users together to connect various people involved in wireless communication technologies. Main theme in 2014 is "Wireless technologies to support smart society," and special focus put on the technologies related to "Wireless sensor network" "Wireless power transmission" "Indoor positioning system". As an event to introduce the forefront of wireless communications technology, WTP2014 focused on the cutting-edge technologies for wireless communications infrastructure including LTE-Advanced as well as technologies for Next generation wireless LAN, Sensor network, Wireless power transmission, Energy harvesting, and Vehicle communications.
