Introducing your new Echelon Portfolio site We have recently enhanced the Echelon website navigation by switching to a more intuitive top-centric menu, complemented by the sub menu on the left hand side of the page. To help you find your way around the new site, we have prepared this user guide to walk you through the main features of the site and how you can find them. 2. Logging in to the Echelon Portfolio Website To access the Echelon Portfolio website for corporate actions and reporting, you will still login to the Core Trading website using your existing Username and password. To login to the Core Trading website, enter your Username and password in the login box in the top right corner of the page and click Login. Quick Tip Login to the Core Trading site with your existing Username and password. If you have forgotten your Username or password, or need help logging in, you can call Portfolio Client Support on Requesting Echelon Portfolio access for your clients The new Echelon Portfolio site allows you to request view-only access for your clients. With view-only access, your clients will be able to view their corporate action entitlements, detailed information on corporate actions, PDFs of offer prospectuses and reports. You can request view-only access for new Echelon Portfolio clients in the Echelon Portfolio application form. To request view-only access for existing Echelon Portfolio clients, please contact Portfolio Client support on or PortfolioClientSupport@coreservices.com.au 3 of 11

4 3. Your Home Page Once you have logged in, you will be taken to your home page. On your home page you ll see News and Market Updates and market dashboards. The main menu navigation sits along the top of the page, complemented by a sub menu down the left hand side of the page. Quick Tip You can personalise your homepage by clicking Show on the Manage My Home Page tab. When customising your homepage you can choose from a range of information and functions including the latest News Feeds, Market Update, Market Watch, Watchlist, All Ords, Market Indices and Exchange Rates. 4 of 11

5 4. Navigating the Website The main menu on top of the home page allows you to navigate to all areas of the Core Trading website. You can now access the Echelon Portfolio site for corporate actions and reporting by clicking My Clients > View Echelon Portfolio and then the Launch button on the bottom right to launch the corporate actions and reporting window. Quick Tip There s no need to sign in again on the Echelon Portfolio corporate actions site you will be logged in automatically. Close this window when you are finished with the corporate actions, tax and performance reporting site to return to the main site. 5 of 11

6 5. Corporate Actions Entitlement Lists Select Corporate Actions from the main menu, then Entitlement Lists to view a dashboard of currently open and recently closed corporate actions. You will only see a corporate action for a stock if that stock is held by one of your clients. Corporate actions and Initial Public Offerings appear under separate headings, giving you easy access to the details of each offer. From the Corporate Actions page you can access details of any corporate actions, PDFs of Offer Documents and act on your clients corporate action offers. Quick Tip The number shown in brackets in each Entitlements link highlights at a glance how many of your clients are entitled to each Corporate Action. Keep track of which entitlements you ve actioned with the number of clients still to action indicated in brackets beneath each Un-actioned link. More information on how to use the corporate actions functionality can be found in the Corporate Actions Guide, located on your Echelon Portfolio home page. 6 of 11

7 From this screen, you can: 1 Access details of the corporate actions and IPOs by clicking the stock code in the Stock column 2 Click on Offer Document to open the PDF prospectus 3 Click the link to nominate one default selection for all clients 4 Click the link to view clients entitled to each corporate action and IPO and accept or decline the action for each client 5 Click the link to view all entitled clients you ve not yet actioned and accept or decline the action for each client of 11

Entitled Clients In addition to viewing corporate actions in the Entitlement List, clicking on Corporate Actions > Entitled Clients on the main menu will take you to the Corporate Action Client Search, where you can search by Client Account Name or Account Number to see their entitlements to corporate actions and Initial Public Offerings. Type your client s Account Name or Account Number into the box and click Search. Your search results will display below. To view the corporate actions and IPO entitlements for a client, click on the Corporate Actions link. You will be taken to the Corporate Actions by Client page where you can view a list of corporate actions and IPOs relating to your client. Alternatively, click the Report link to open the Corporate Actions Reports screen. Here, you can run a report on actioned and/or un-actioned corporate actions over a specified date range for a client. Further narrow the report results by including a specific Stock Code in the report parameters. From the Corporate Actions by Client page you can: view a detailed description of a corporate action by clicking on the stock code in the Stock column; review the prospectus by clicking on Offer Document to open the prospectus in a new window; and view acceptance instructions by clicking on Entitlement. 8 of 11

9 7. Reports Report Centre The Report Centre allows you to generate reports on your clients accounts. You can select which clients to include in your report and which reports to generate by ticking the check box next to the items you want to see in the report. You can choose a date range to apply to the data included in the report, and choose to generate reports for multiple accounts separately or as one consolidated report. When you have selected the items you want to report on and the date range, click on Generate Report to create your report. Your report will open in a new window, and may take a few moments to generate. 9 of 11

10 Popular Reports From the Reports tab on the menu you can also access popular reports, including: Asset Holding Average Cost Asset Holding Unrealised Tax Gains/Losses Position & Portfolio Valuations Response Summary Report Quick Tip You can run response summary reports on both open and closed Corporate Actions and Initial Public Offerings. Response Summary by Client Report You can view a full description of the reports available in the Echelon Portfolio Glossary, which is available on the Report Centre page of the Echelon Portfolio website. 10 of 11

11 8. Logging Out To log out of the Echelon Portfolio corporate actions and reporting window, simply click Close Window. To log out of the Core Trading website, close the window or click Log out from the login box in the top right of your screen. 9. Any Questions?
