2 Description UNIX Part 1: User Fundamentals (5620-FCI) Learn how to get started with UNIX. This course introduces the Common Desktop Environment (CDE) and the terminal window. Understand how to manipulate input and output, as well as how to compress and uncompress files. It also introduces the UNIX shell environment, shell functionality, and text patterns.
