1 Unit Search for Retail Registration: Search can be made by both Serial and VIN (VIN or OEM VIN) of a unit. A user can enter a full or partial Serial/VIN to perform a search by clicking the Search link. 8/19/ Page 1 of 17

2 Search Results: If more than one match is found then the search results are shown in a list ordered by the most recent VIN entered in the system. The users can just pick the appropriate unit from the list by clicking the corresponding Select link. 8/19/ Page 2 of 17

3 Unit, Retail and Dealer Information: Once a unit is selected from the results the details are shown in three sections. First section shows the Details of the Unit. Second section shows the Dealer and Invoice information. Third section shows the Customer Retail Information. 8/19/ Page 3 of 17

4 All the three sections are collapse able and the details can be shown or hidden by clicking the blue bar on top of each section. 8/19/ Page 4 of 17

5 Unit Information Section: This section shows the details of the Unit and also has a VIN Notes link to open a new window showing VIN notes for that particular unit. 8/19/ Page 5 of 17

6 Dealer Information Section: This section shows the dealer number and name to which the unit was sold with the invoice information. If there are more records in the system then the details of the latest record are pulled. 8/19/ Page 6 of 17

7 The other records (if available) can be seen by clicking the Show More link. If there are no more records the message is displayed to inform the users. 8/19/ Page 7 of 17

8 Retail Information Section: This section shows the detail of the Customer Retail information. Like Dealer section this section shows the latest record if there are multiple records in the system. 8/19/ Page 8 of 17

9 To view more records the user can use the Show More link. 8/19/ Page 9 of 17

10 Editing a Retail Record: Once the appropriate retail record is selected it can by edited by clicking the Edit link at the bottom. Once all the changes are made users can click the Update link or they can click the Cancel link to exit out of the edit mode. 8/19/ Page 10 of 17

11 There are some restrictions on editing the retail information. If the dealer number is not one of the dealers to which the unit was sold the users will be prompted as in the screenshot below. 8/19/ Page 11 of 17

12 The users can not mark retail info as New Retail or Edited at the same time and will be prompted as in the following screenshot. 8/19/ Page 12 of 17

13 Adding New Retail Registration: To add new Retail Registration information users can use the Add New Retail Registration link at the bottom of the screen. This link will be shown only when a unit is selected from the search results. 8/19/ Page 13 of 17

14 After click the link for adding new retail registration users will see the following screen. The VIN information will be filled based on VIN selection and sold by dealer drop down list will be filled based on the records for the dealer. 8/19/ Page 14 of 17

15 Users will fill the rest of the information. Some of the fields are required fields like Retail Owner s name etc and therefore retail information can not be submitted without those fields. 8/19/ Page 15 of 17

16 Once all the necessary information is filled then clicking the Submit link will add the new retail information for a unit in the warranty system. 8/19/ Page 16 of 17

17 Once the retail information is added to the system users will be taken back to the detail screen. 8/19/ Page 17 of 17
