3 M INDM ANAGER READER General Information The MindManager Reader can be installed to easily open mmap files, leveraging the rich interactive format available in MindManager. Expand and collapse branches, view notes, attachments, links, comments, and more (see Supported features section for more info). The user interface supports English, French, German, and Russian (New). The language will be selected based on the system s language settings. 7 FIXED RENDERING ISSUES IN VERSION Boundaries on tree layouts do not contain entire branch. Boundaries on all layouts appear as they do in MindManager. Jump to feature on relationships does not work if the related topic is collapsed. Jump to feature now works as expected. Org-chart main topics with explicitly set layouts sometimes do not display the correct layout. Org-chart layouts should appear as they do in MindManager regardless of their layout.. In some maps dependency icons overlap topics and other content. Dependency icons appear as they do in MindManager and do not overlap topics. Topics with no shape and line anchors set to spread or center have topic text that is obstructed by the connector lines. Topics with no shape now appear as they do in MindManager Floating topics with collapsed subtopics do not display. If there are a large number of collapsed subtopics attached to the floating topics the map loads slowly. Floating topics with collapsed subtopics now display and no longer cause the map to load slowly. Custom Shapes on callouts do not display. Custom shapes on callouts now appear as they do in MindManager Floating topics sometimes displayed subtopics on the wrong side. Floating topic subtopics now appear on the same side as they do in MindManager. Horizontal timelines with topics above the timeline display the collapse/expand button in the wrong place Collapse/Expand buttons above horizontal timelines now appear as they do in MindManager Distance from parent settings on floating topics are not displayed properly. 8 FIXED RENDERING ISSUES IN VERSION Flowcharts had formatting issues in some cases (text wrapping, topic size, location, or relationship lines were incorrect) Several fixes were made to flowchart topic rendering, text wrapping, and relationship line rendering yielding significantly better accuracy when viewing flowcharts. Topic text did not wrap in the same place as in MindManager in some cases. Fixes were made to significantly improve the accuracy of text wrapping in Org-chart topics with relationships or dependencies prevented the map from loading. Relationships or dependencies on org-chart topics should no longer cause the map not to load. The collapse state of the map was not the same as in MindManager in some cases Collapse state in map now always matches map in MindManager at the time of export. Some maps would not load due to parsing or other errors Some maps that previously failed to load should now load Org-chart subtopics always displayed as tree layout regardless of their layout setting. Org-chart subtopics should now display the correct layout based on their layout setting. Maps always highlighted completed, at risk, and overdue tasks. Maps should now show task highlights based on MindManager s task display options. In some cases filtered maps would not be displayed correctly. Filtered maps should no appear as they do in MindManager. KNOWN GENERAL ISSUES IN VERSION & The product does not uninstall correctly in Windows from the control panel. After uninstalling from the control panel uninstall tool, navigate to the installation folder (C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Programs\MindManager Reader Preview), and execute Uninstall MindManager Reader Preview.exe In some cases, the open file dialog will not display available file types in the file format selection drop down menu. 9 The product does not allow the user to define the installation location None at this time KNOWN RENDERING ISSUES IN VERSION Longer map titles are truncated at the top of the viewer in some cases. Mouse over the browser tab to see a tooltip with the full map title. Topics with their fill color set to "None" or partially transparent will not show background images behind them. Maps exported in the legacy interactive PDF format are not viewable as topic attachments. Topic info (tags, task info, etc) appears at the bottom of Diamond, Circle, and Oval shape topics instead of directly below the text. Maps that contain a very high number of topics take a long time to load and collapsing and expanding branches in these maps has a delay. Relationships connected to boundaries are not displayed.
