3 MINDM AN AGER BROWSER AP PLICATION VERSION 2.1 General Information The MindManager Browser application leverages the rich interactive format available in MindManager. Experience mmap files as animated presentations, expand and collapse branches, view rich content like notes, attachments, links, comments, and more (see the Supported features section for more info). The user interface supports English, French, German, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese. The language will be selected based on the system s language settings. Map content will appear in the language used to create it. New in Version 2.1 Version 2.1 adds bug fixes and quality of life enhancements Supplemental content like notes, links, etc. displayed in Presentation Mode is now highlighted when stepping through the presentation if displaying the content is enabled in the settings. Focus button now has animated panning. Publishing o Customize the branding for your published files The MindManager logo displayed on the loading page and bottom right of the screen can be customized in the published files advanced options The logo link can also be customized to hyperlink to your website of choice o The MindManager trial now includes trial access to the publishing service. Files published during the trial are automatically unpublished after 30 days. o Count of views is displayed for each file on the Manage Published Maps screen. o The published file s title is displayed on the password input screen for password protected files. o Publish preview loads much faster. o Publishing a filtered map now correctly honors the filter in the published file s presentation mode. o Set it and forget it, changes to advanced options are now always applied to newly published files (includes: allow downloads, display in presentation mode, storage location, and custom branding settings) Mobile o Tap and drag anywhere to pan the map (even on top of topics) o Pinch and zoom anywhere on the map (even on top of topics) o Size of collapse/expand buttons and control strip icons on mobile now match original map size. o Mobile content inspector has a new UI and now resizes based on content height Corel Corporation 2

4 o Password screen for files published with a password has been optimized for mobile. o UI can no longer be accidentally scrolled up on Mobile Safari. Localization o Several localization errors have been fixed. Layout o Layout engine has been improved improving accuracy of display in the following areas: floating topic location, background object location, custom main topic positioning, rich text formatting, connector line styles, line anchor styles, distance between siblings, distance from parent, nested layouts, relationship lines, and floating timelines. o Most layout fixes do not appear in the Fixed In section of this document due to their detailed nature. 8 FIXED ISSUES IN VERSION 2.1 In many cases background objects did not line up with topics as they did in MindManager. Vertical custom positioning for main topics is sometimes displayed incorrectly. Topic info (tags, task info, etc.) on Diamond, Circle, and Oval shapes appear in a different location than they do in MindManager Transparent topics on top of background objects were sometimes unreadable. In some cases incorrect layout on subtopics of callout topics was displayed. Icon tooltips did not display the icon s title. In some cases relationship end points were not correctly displayed. Right aligned text was not displayed properly. In some cases collapse/expand state was not properly saved for nested topics. Relationship labels were not displayed in Presentation Mode. Custom cell headers for embedded spreadsheets were not displayed. Date & time properties with European formatting were displayed with American formatting. Exporting from MindManager for Mac showed the wrong units for effort duration. Diamond shape topics with 2 or less characters were displayed incorrectly Corel Corporation 7

9 Up tree branches were not properly displayed in timelines. Topic notes with images that were pasted from another topic note were not correctly displayed. FIXED BROWSER SPECIFIC ISSUES IN VERSION 2.1 Dependency tooltips were not properly displayed in IE11 or Edge. KNOWN ISSUES IN VERSION 2.1 Topics with their fill color set to "None" or partially transparent will not show background images behind them. Maps exported in the legacy interactive PDF format are not viewable as topic attachments. Ink images created in pen mode are not displayed. Convert ink to text. Relative file links do not work. Change the link type to absolute in the add/edit link dialog. Callouts appear in the wrong location in rare cases One or more Topics appear in the wrong order in rare cases. Copy & paste content to a new map. Links to local or network files do not work in some cases. Use attachments instead. Roll-up tasks with hours round down to the nearest whole work day Corel Corporation 8

10 Effort sometimes displays using the wrong units and is displayed below resources instead of above. Web hyperlinks set to absolute are treated like file links and don t work. Change web hyperlinks to relative in the links dialog. in some cases, relationship or dependency lines set to right angle in timeline layouts are displayed incorrectly. Use a different relationship style instead. In some cases image padding is displayed incorrectly. Subtopic count is always displayed.
