3 MINDM AN AGER BROWSER AP PLICATION VERSION 2.0 General Information The MindManager Browser application leverages the rich interactive format available in MindManager. Experience mmap files as animated presentations, expand and collapse branches, view rich content like notes, attachments, links, comments, and more (see the Supported features section for more info). The user interface supports English, French, German, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese. The language will be selected based on the system s language settings. Map content will appear in the language used to create it. New in Version 2.0 Version 2.0 brings many new features, bug fixes and quality of life enhancements Present your maps in style. The new presentation view mode can be enabled in the Menu. Experience an easy to use presentation interface that will guide you and your viewers through the map. Animated transitions and automatic zooming ensure your content is engaging and easy to read. o Customize your presentation with powerful viewing options. o Control the presentation experience by choosing the perfect zoom levels, transition effects, and content that gets shown. New UI o The UI has been updated with modern look and feel designed to minimize the areas needed for buttons & menus and maximize the mapping canvas. Newly Supported Map Elements & Features o Link Titles (New in MindManager 2018) o Fade filter (New in MindManager 2018) o New Objects: Shapes, Text Boxes, & Swimlanes (New in MindManager 2018) o Conditional Formatting (New in MindManager 2018) o Search now includes text box objects o Spreadsheet cell formatting Quality of Life Improvements. o The collapse/expand state for all topics is retained exactly as it was saved in MindManager. o Zoom buttons are more responsive. o When viewing attached maps, the state of the parent map is now retained when navigating back to the parent map. 8 FIXED ISSUES IN VERSION 2.0 Topic dimensions did not match MindManager. Topic dimensions are now more accurate. The location of floating topics in were sometimes incorrect. Boundaries do not show their fill color. Boundary fill colors are not displayed properly. In some cases, summary boundaries were displayed incorrectly. In some cases, callouts would overlap. In some cases, org-chart depth level settings were displayed incorrectly. Task info sometimes overlapped other topics in timeline layouts In some cases, map layout topics under org-chart topics were not displayed correctly. In some cases, image in topics were not displayed in the correct position. In some cases, radial layouts were displayed as right map layout. In some cases, incorrect text styling was displayed. Floating topics on the left side of the central topic sometimes displayed the wrong growth direction. Related topics did not get refreshed when switching to a new topic via the side panel. Fixed, related topics will now be displayed for the newly selected topic. In some cases, the connector line position for org-chart topic children was incorrect 2017 Corel Corporation 7

9 In some cases, line breaks in topics with multiple font sizes were displayed incorrectly. In some cases, text width was incorrect in topics with large images. In some cases, the map could not be panned down to display the lower portion of tall maps. FIXED BROWSER SPECIFIC ISSUES IN VERSION 2.0 Alpha icons were not displayed in IE11. KNOWN ISSUES IN VERSION 2.0 Topics with their fill color set to "None" or partially transparent will not show background images behind them. Maps exported in the legacy interactive PDF format are not viewable as topic attachments. Topic info (tags, task info, etc.) appears at the bottom of Diamond, Circle, and Oval shape topics instead of directly below the text. Ink images created in pen mode are not displayed. Convert ink to text. Relative file links do not work. Change the link type to absolute in the add/edit link dialog. Callouts appear in the wrong location in rare cases 2017 Corel Corporation 8

10 One or more Topics appear in the wrong order in rare cases. Copy & paste content to a new map. Links to local or network files do not work in some cases. Use attachments instead. Roll-up tasks with hours round down to the nearest whole work day. Effort sometimes displays using the wrong units and is displayed below resources instead of above. Web hyperlinks set to absolute are treated like file links and don t work. Change web hyperlinks to relative in the links dialog. in some cases, relationship or dependency lines set to right angle in timeline layouts are displayed incorrectly. Use a different relationship style instead. Vertical custom positioning for main topics is sometimes displayed incorrectly. In some cases image padding is displayed incorrectly. Topics that should be hidden by filters are displayed in presentation mode. Copy the visible topics from your filtered file into a new file, then export or publish the new file.
