Building on a smart brokerage network that facilitates matchmaking between the supply and the demand side, it goes beyond, by encompassing a set of additional tools that help the participants and reduces the demand-supply friction in the logistics automation market. These provide added value to all stakeholders in the logistics automation value chain, from end-users to solution providers, and in all implementation stages, from planning and initial research, up to commissioning and disseminating success. Following the specification of the Marketplace (L4MS deliverable D2.1) and the implementation planning, the first version (v1.0) is released. The implementation is guided by the plan defined in this specification, with minor refinements that were identified after the final drafting of the preceding deliverable. A first set of features (services) have been planned and implemented in v1.0. The decision for these included services was based both on which services were deemed as most important by the targeted users of the Marketplace, as well as on the business planning, at the level that it had been decided at the time of this first implementation. Further 3 versions that expand and refine this one are planned to be implemented within the L4MS project. 7 Executive summary This document describes the services that are included in the first version of the Marketplace (v1.0), launched at the internet address Three more versions will be implemented within the L4MS project, refining and improving this version, as well as expanding it with new services. In summary, Version 1.0 of the Marketplace offers the following services: Search mechanism: allows users to search for manufacturing end-users and automation logistics providers. The users can filter the results based on different criteria, like industry, country and type of providers. Track service exchanges: allows the Marketplace to track when a service exchange between a manufacturing end-user and a provider takes place. The process that takes place is that one party claims a service exchange and the other party confirming the service exchange. Rating & Feedback: when a service exchange has been confirmed by both parties, they are able to leave star rating and text feedback on each other. Messaging between users: allows user to exchange messages with each other. User dashboard: allows users to view and edit the profile information, and view notifications, like services exchange claims and unread messages. Open call application: allows users to access information and documents regarding the L4MS open calls, as well as submit their proposals. 8 1 Introduction 1.1 Scope of this document and relation to other Work Packages The scope of this document is to provide information on the services offered by the L4MS Marketplace version 1.0, as released. Information on the additional services will be reported accumulatively in the follow-up deliverables. Within the L4MS project, this report is the output of tasks T2.2 Development of the L4MS Marketplace and T2.3 Deployment of the L4MS Marketplace, and it relates to a number of other tasks and Work Packages, as illustrated in Figure 2. Figure 2: Relation to other Work Packages Within the same Work Package (WP2) T2.2 is fed with the specifications developed in task T2.1. T2.4, will refine the specification and update the L4MS Marketplace, based on evaluation results. T2.5 will also provide additional input, to address the training concepts. WP1 provides information on what is needed from the Marketplace to support and promote OPIL. WP3 and WP5 are concerned with the execution of the application experiments. Certain services of the Marketplace will be used and evaluated during the application experiments. These Work Packages use the services described in this report and provide feedback for their evaluation. WP6 is the most closely related Work Package in the form of a continuous interaction between WP2 and WP6. The sustainability plan is developed within this Work Package, and this is the most important element that affects the Marketplace. Even though the Marketplace targets to meet the needs of its users as expressed by themselves, the specification and development is heavily affected by the business design. The business design ensures that the user needs are addressed in such a way that it highlights the Marketplace s unique value proposition, with a target to ensure sustainability in the long term. 1.2 Lifecycle and different versions of this release Figure 3: Stages of v1.0 development [767642] L4MS -- Logistics for Manufacturing SMEs Page 8/24

The stages of the first iteration of the L4MS Marketplace implementation are depicted in Figure 3. In more detail: 1. The Pre-alpha version includes the conceptual development of the L4MS Marketplace features and the elicitation of the requirements The Alpha version concerns the development of the first prototype and formal testing and verification, performed by the software developer (ED) internally. 3. The Closed Beta (v1.0b) refers to the 1 st functional prototype that was released internally within the L4MS consortium to test the functionalities. The purpose of this internal testing was to gain insights on which features needs focus and what kind of user interface is needed. Testing of the Closed Beta version will be active until the start of the second iteration, i.e. the initiation of the v2.0 implementation (October 2018). 4. Concurrently with the release of v1.0b, the branding and the graphical design of the User Interface was initiated. This design coincided with a re-branding of the whole L4MS project. 5. Based on the graphical design of the UI, a first preliminary version (v0.1) for the Marketplace was publicised on mid-september, in order to provide access to the Open Calls and disseminate the new L4MS brand. The homepage includes a Call-to-action button that leads users to the Open Call application platform in order to submit a proposal for the 1 st L4MS Open Call. 6. On the end of September, version v1.0, features related to signing up and user profiles become available. Users are able to use the Open Call application platform by logging in to the Core Marketplace platform (Single Sign-On functionality) 2. Other features are not yet available for the public, as the Marketplace is still in the phase of creating its user base. At the same time, the testing of beta version is continued. The business planning within the L4MS project (WP6) will define when it is an appropriate time to release the different features. 7. After the v1.0 public release, results from the v1.0b testing will be analysed, and along with the features and UI interface refinements, the second iteration for v2.0 will start. A total of 4 iterations are planned within the L4MS project. As it can be seen, release v1.0 is actually accompanied by other two versions which serve different purposes. The purpose of each release is as below: v0.1 version: This serves as an early deployment of the L4MS Marketplace, in order to catch up with the early opening of the Open Calls. The main purpose of this release is to promote the Marketplace as a coming soon service, as well as promote the L4MS brand. Due to the early date of Open Calls (1st of September, while the Marketplace deployment was planned for the 30th of September), the Marketplace was not ready to support users signing up and using both the Marketplace and Open Calls application platform under the same credentials (Single Sign On Functionality). For the period 1st-30th of September, and in order to avoid confusion with users signing up two times, the sign up functionality was removed from the main Marketplace homepage, and was active only on the Open Call Application platform. On the v1.0 version, registered users data will be migrated from the Open Call application platform to the core Marketplace. v1.0 version: This serves as the official v1.0 release of the Marketplace. Its purposes are to advertise the L4MS Marketplace services and build up the user base. This is also facilitated by the Open Calls. Many services of the Marketplace are hidden in this version, as the user base at this point (few users) does not allow yet the efficient provision of these services. Business planning within the L4MS project will define when these services will become available. v1.0 closed beta version: This serves as the internal testing version of the Marketplace. The features are tested by the L4MS Consortium in order to identify the most significant weaknesses and the improvements with highest added value. Results of this testing will define the development of v2.0 of the Marketplace. 1.3 Document overview To ensure the high quality of the report, the services catalogue is documented as proposed in the Services Catalogue information item specified in ISO/IEC IT Service Management 3. In Chapter 1, the introduction to the document and the contact points are included. In Chapter 2, the services of the L4MS Marketplace version 1.0 are briefly introduced, and the main highlevel software elements are described. In Chapter 3, the website s main structure and homepage elements are introduced. In Chapter 4, to detailed catalogue of the services that version 1.0 provides is elaborated. 1 The requirements analysis and the conceptual design are reported in the L4MS project deliverable D The different individual platforms of which the L4MS Marketplace consists of are described in chapter ISO/IEC & -2, Information technology Service management, Part 1: Service management system requirements, 2011 & Part 2: Guidance on the application of service management systems, [767642] L4MS -- Logistics for Manufacturing SMEs Page 9/24

1.4 Contact points for requesting assistance and reporting incidents A Helpdesk will be established to support the operation of the L4MS Marketplace and to provide additional services. As for version 1.0 the Helpdesk is not planned to start its operation. However, in case of urgent incidents that need to be reported, these should be reported to the address helpdesk@l4ms.eu, or by using the contact form that is available within the L4MS Marketplace ( Contact link at the navigation bar at the top of the webpage). 11 2 L4MS Marketplace version 1.0 overview 2.1 Refinement of specification This paragraph includes the changes introduced to the Marketplace version 1.0 implementation, compared to the planned system as initially planned during the system specification 4. Changes in planned services for version : 1. Estimate investment cost & ROI: Discussions on what would be the tools that will offer the higher added value have been continuously taken place within the L4MS partners. Even though the investment cost & ROI calculator is still an important tool to be offered, it was decided that the tool implementation will be postponed to the next Marketplace version, so as to be more certain about the value of the tool to-be-developed. A factor for this decision was also that not all the features are to be published immediately, so the postponing of the tool implementation to the next Marketplace version will not have high negative consequences. 2. Open call application: A micro-site for the L4MS open calls was added in the L4MS Marketplace version 1.0, to allow candidates of the open calls to submit their proposals within the Marketplace. Changes in (overall) system functions 6 : 1. A new function MPF-4.3 Open call platform is added, to implement the added service for the open call application. Changes in previously planned system functions for version : 1. MPF-4.1 is removed as a consequence of the related service removal. 2. New function MPF-4.3 is added to the planned system functions for version Summary of services and subversions Apart from the changes described in paragraph 2.1, Version 1.0 of the L4MS Marketplace is in line with the plan and specification, and includes the following services: Search mechanism Track service exchanges Rating & Feedback Messaging between users User dashboard Open call application The services are planned to be offered on a 24/7 basis, except the Open Call application, which will be offered only during the L4MS open calls (with additional time before the start and after the end). As mentioned in paragraph 1.2, the release v1.0 is actually divided in three different versions with different objectives. This means that not all services are included in all versions. The services that are included in the different versions are given in the following table: Service Public L4MS Consortiumonly (closed beta) v0.1 v1.0 v1.0b Search mechanism No No Yes Track service exchanges No No Yes Rating & Feedback No No Yes Messaging between users No No Yes User dashboard No Only profile view and edit Open Call application Link to Open Call application platform Yes, with Single Sign-On Graphical design / brand Yes Yes No/partly Yes No 4 Defined in L4MS deliverable D2.1 5 Paragraph of L4MS deliverable D2.1 6 Paragraph 3.3 L4MS deliverable D2.1 7 Paragraph 5.2 of L4MS deliverable D2.1 [767642] L4MS -- Logistics for Manufacturing SMEs Page 11/24

3 Platform overall structure 3.1 Individual platforms that constitute the overall L4MS Marketplace The overall L4MS Marketplace web platform consists of 3 individual platforms with distinct purposes and features, as depicted in Figure 4. These are: Figure 4: Individual platforms that constitute the overall L4MS Marketplace 1. The core L4MS Marketplace platform, which offers the main features and the main added value of the L4MS Marketplace, 2. The Open Call application platform, which allows applicants to submit proposals in the L4MS Open Calls, 3. The project website, which includes information about the L4MS project, and is used for dissemination (and therefore is out-of-scope for this document). The navigation from the core L4MS Marketplace platform to the Open Call application platform is done via the relevant call-to-action button at the L4MS Marketplace homepage, while the navigation to the project website is done via the relevant link at the About webpage. 3.2 Interface design The colours and graphical details were selected according to the marketing brand of L4MS. Figure 5 shows the main elements of the homepage. Positioning of each element is based on common practices and especially taking into consideration the Z-pattern homepage design pattern 8. These elements are: Styled logo in #1 to grab the user s attention, A colourful sign-up button at point #2 (secondary call-to-action), which reinforces the desired eye movement, An image placeholder (with value proposition) at #3, to separate the top section of the design from the bottom, and facilitate eye movement downward, Icons at point #4 to encourage title scanning, A big call-to-action button at point # Figure 5: Main elements of the homepage 8 B. 13 4 Services catalogue In the following section, most of the screenshots are taken from the v1.0b (beta) version. This version mostly served as a user testing environment for the features, thus the graphical design does not correspond to the final public one. For reference regarding which versions include the following services please see paragraph Search mechanism Description This service allows users to search and filter other users, based on various criteria. These include: Text Category: manufacturer or solution provider. For solution provider, selection of the following sub-categories is possible: o Consultant o Competence Centre o Complete Solution Planning o Components supplier o Logistics Products Manufacturer o Robotics Integrator o Training Provider o Financial Support Expert Industry, out of the following list 9 : o Food products o Beverages o Tobacco o Textiles o Wearing apparel o Leather o Wood products, except furniture o Paper o Recorded media o Coke and refined petroleum o Chemicals o Pharmaceutical o Rubber and plastic o Other non-metallic mineral products o Basic metals o Fabricated metal products, except machinery & equipment o Computer, electronics and optical o Electrical equipment o Machinery and equipment o Motor vehicles o Other transport equipment o Furniture o Maritime (Sea) Location (Country) Expertise (Pre-defined list options are currently under discussion within the L4MS Consortium) The user is able to sort the results by each of the above-mentioned criteria. The user is also able to select the number of results that will appear per results page. The results, as shown in Figure 6, are presented in a list format with the following information for each result: Organisation name Category Sub category Location More button 9 Based on NACE group C: [767642] L4MS -- Logistics for Manufacturing SMEs Page 13/24

Figure 6: Search results The More button opens a modal window, shown in Figure 7, providing more information on the selected result, like industry. It also provides access to 2 further services by the following means: Send message by filling in the contact box Claim a service exchange Figure 7: "More" modal window on search results Access Both anonymous and registered users are able to access the service. However, while registered users are able to access the full service, anonymous are able to access only aggregated information (i.e. number of search results), without viewing specific user profile information. The service is accessed through the top navigation bar, which is visible throughout all the webpages. 4.2 Track service exchanges Description This service allows the marketplace to track when a service exchange takes place. This is needed to ensure that ratings and feedback provided between users is based on a real service exchange, accepted by both parties (the user who submits the rating and the user who receives it). At a later phase this may also be used to confirm exchanges that have taken place to claim fees or for other forms of exploitation. Through the More information for a user (user profile), a service exchange can be claimed, by clicking the Exchange button. The claim is accompanied by a text description, as shown in Figure 8. [767642] L4MS -- Logistics for Manufacturing SMEs Page 14/24

Figure 8: Claiming a service exchange This creates an exchange claim which appears as a notification to the receiving user s dashboard. There the receiving user can view the claim s information (claim date and claim description), and confirm the claim, as shown in Figure 9. Figure 9: Confirming a service exchange at the user dashboard notifications After confirming the service exchange, it is now tracked within the Marketplace, and the users can leave rating and feedback on each other. This service depends on the Search mechanism and User dashboard services Access Only registered users are able to access the service. The service to claim a service exchange is accessed through the profile information at the search results. The service to accept or reject a claimed service exchange is accessed through the notifications at the user dashboard. 4.3 Rating & Feedback Description This service allows users to rate and leave feedback on other users. When a service exchange is confirmed by both parties, an entry is created at the exchange history of the user. The exchange history is accessed through the user dashboard. There, the user can see the ratings and feedback they have received and submitted, and can submit a new one by clicking the respective icon, as shown in Figure 10. After clicking the icon, a modal window appears that allows the user to select the rating and write comments, as shown in Figure 11. [767642] L4MS -- Logistics for Manufacturing SMEs Page 15/24

Figure 10: Exchange history list at the user dashboard Figure 11: Submitting rating and feedback This service depends on the Track service exchanges and User dashboard services Access Only registered users are able to access the service. The service is accessible only after a service exchange has been confirmed, using the service Track service exchanges. It was decided that the ratings will not be publicly shown within the Marketplace at the initial phase after its launch. After an acceptable number of ratings have been gathered, these will be then released to be accessible publicly. The service is accessed through the user dashboard, by selecting the Exchange history tab. 4.4 Messaging between users Description This service allows users to communicate with personal messages. A communication can be initiated at the respective modal window of the user information, shown in Figure 7. Complete conversation history is kept at the user dashboard, at the Messages tab, as shown in Figure 12. [767642] L4MS -- Logistics for Manufacturing SMEs Page 16/24

Figure 12: A conversation shown in the user dashboard Unread messages are shown as notification at the dashboard start page, as shown in Figure 13. Figure 13: Unseen messages notification (green circle) This service depends on the Search mechanism and User dashboard services Access Only registered users are able to access the service. The initiation of the service is accessed by the More information modal window of a user profile. The conversations are accessed at the user dashboard by selecting the Messages tab. 4.5 User dashboard Description This service allows users to administer their data, messages, view notifications etc. The home page of the dashboard appears as soon as the user logs in, showing notifications, as shown in Figure 13. Notifications include: Pending service exchange claims for approval Unseen messages Pending service providers for approval (shown only in members of the L4MS Marketplace team) [767642] L4MS -- Logistics for Manufacturing SMEs Page 17/24

The dashboard includes the following tabs: Profile, showing the user information (view profile) and providing access to edit this information, shown in Figure 14. Messages, providing access to conversations. Exchange history, providing access to confirmed service exchanges and rating & feedback service Access Only registered users are able to access the service. Figure 14: View profile information The service is accessed through a persistent button that is presented at the top right corner of the webpages. The start page of the user dashboard is also shown immediately after the user logs in. 4.6 Open call application Description This service allows users to access relevant information and documents, as well as submit proposals to the L4MS Open Calls. It is implemented as a micro-site, which is based on a separate platform from the core Marketplace; yet a Single Sign-On functionality, along with the same look n feel, provides a consistent user experience. The open calls platform has already features that allow the better management and overview of the open calls, while it also facilitates the evaluation of the proposals via dedicated evaluator dashboards. Figure 15: The open calls microsite [767642] L4MS -- Logistics for Manufacturing SMEs Page 18/24

4.6.2 Access All users can access the L4MS open call micro-site. Figure 16: Submitting a proposal in the L4MS Open Calls To submit an application to the L4MS Open Calls, users have to be registered and logged in. For v0.1, they sign-up directly to the open calls microsite. For v1.0, they sign up to the core Marketplace, and access the microsite via a Single Sign-On feature Single Sign-On between core Marketplace and Open Calls platforms The integration between the two individual platforms, the core L4MS Marketplace and the open calls platform, a Single Sign-On functionality has been developed, that allows users to sign up and login to the L4MS Marketplace, and then use the open calls platform with the same credentials, without having to sign up or log in again. The Single Sign-On feature was implemented following the OAuth2 protocol, where the core Marketplace serves as the server side of the protocol, and the open calls platform as the client side. This functionality will be further exploited in the follow-up versions of the Marketplace, to offer discussion boards, online support and promotion services. 4.7 Service provider approval Description In order to ensure the high quality of the supply side of the Marketplace, it was decided that any user who wishes to be registered and appear as a Service Provider, should first be approved by the Marketplace team. Therefore, a service to approve newly registered service provider has been added. The pending approvals appear as notifications to the user dashboard of the Marketplace team members ( Content team ), who can select if the newly registered users will appear as Service Providers. The service depends on the User dashboard service Access Only members of the Marketplace Content Team, i.e. users who have been given the relevant privileges by the administrator, can access the service. This is not a service that is offered for the users that register on the Marketplace, but only to the Content Team users, a role that is assigned only to the administrative team of the Marketplace (L4MS Consortium). The service is accessed through the user dashboard. [767642] L4MS -- Logistics for Manufacturing SMEs Page 19/24
