The Portal The Portal page is the first screen you will arrive on when you have successfully logged in to the platform. From this screen you can access all of the available modules and several additional functions for common tasks. Modules (top menu): [News & Help], [Jobs], [Review Manager], [Library], and [Build-an-Ad]. These will be covered in detail later in this guide. New Request A quick way to place a new request, this will direct you to the Job Creation window within the [Jobs] module where you can select the type of request that you would like to submit. My Requests This button will take you into the Jobs: Overview manager within the [Jobs] module. Here you can view all of your active requests and the current production state they are in. (i.e. a newsprint ad in production) Approvals This button will take you into the [Review Manager] module. Here you will be able to see all proofs awaiting your review. Media Library / Marketing Information These buttons pre-filter assets found in the library. The Media Library button should be used for finding creative assets (i.e. campaign images). The Marketing Information button should be used to locate marketing documents such as the Visual Guide and Co-Op Guidelines. Social Media This button will take you in to the Social Media folder in the [Library] where you can download zip files containing pre-made social media advertising assets. Out of Home (US Only) This button will take you into the OOH subpage on the portal. From this page you can click on the Instructions button to be directed in to the OOH section of the [News & Help] module for more information on the program. Within the Out of Home page you also have buttons that will redirect to either the Blended Ideas Group media buys information page, the OOH Artwork request form, or Camel City Posters website for production orders. 4 P a g e
The Jobs Module The majority of your time in the Pandora Marketing Center will center on the [Jobs] module. Within the module you will be able to place new advertising requests through all of our available programs, view your current request s production status, and revisit finished requests. The main screen of the module is referred to as the Jobs: Overview. There are three key elements that you will need to be aware on this screen. The first is the Standard Filter list on the left hand side. These are built in filters that will allow you to quickly isolate types of requests. Jobs I participate in This is the standard filter that you will be using for the majority of your time. Having this filter selected will show all active jobs that you have been involved in or submitted. My Finished Jobs This filter will show only jobs that have been completed My Canceled Jobs This filter will show only jobs that have been canceled. My Jobs This filter will show only jobs where you as the user have a task that needs to be completed. This would occur if the request was sent back to you for clarification on information in the form. Deleted Jobs This will show all jobs that have been deleted by administrators. 5 P a g e
As you become more familiar you may wish to create your own filters. This can be achieved using the second key feature, the search panel. Any searches you make can be saved as a personal filter by using the Advanced Search tab. Using personal filters can help you find requests by type, job state, even by name if you label your requests with a scheme (i.e. Autumn). The third key area is the Job List table shown in the image below. All jobs relevant to the current filter you have selected will appear in a table format. From this table you will be able to discern a job s PMC number, the job type, and the current production state. 6 P a g e
Job Creation Submitting a new request, or job, is the main function of the [Jobs] module. When submitting a new request we recommend that you do so by clicking the New Request button that can be found on the portal page. Clicking this button will direct you to the Job Type window. In this window you will be able to select what kind of job you will be requesting. Clicking Create below a job type will prompt the Job Name window where you can enter a user-friendly name for your submission such as Baltimore Sun_august ad. Once you have filled in a name or accepted the default name you will be taken to the request form for your selected Job Type. The Edit Job window or Request Form window has a few key points of information to be aware of. At the top right of the window you will see the unique PMC number. This unique identifier is assigned to every job created and used as the reference number when seeking support from Pandora staff. Along the top you will see the request s name, if you provided one, and the participants list. The Participants list will include every group and individual that interacts with the processing of your request. Participants can be contacted using the button on the right side of the window below the Menu button. Request forms fields will vary depending on your request type, but all have specific fields marked with an asterisk that are mandatory and must be completed before your request can be submitted. Some requests require the selection of a creative which will be covered in the next section. After you have filled in the request form you will need to click the Submit, Next Step button at the top right of the window and then confirm the submission when the next dialog pops up. If you close the request prior to clicking Submit, Next Step your request will not be submitted and you will be presented with a dialog to either save your request as a draft or lose your progress. Once the submission confirmation window disappears you can close the window. 7 P a g e
Selecting a Creative Certain requests types will require you to select a creative before you are able to submit the request. On those particular request forms you will see a field that looks like the image to the right. Clicking the Select from Library button will open a new window that will allow you to search the [Library] module for a creative of your choosing. The search pane functions identically to the search found in the [Library] module; keywords are used to search for desired media. The alternate and preferred method is to use the Creative Selection tool (blue text) in the Folders area of the search pane. Once you have clicked the Creative Selection link a new window will appear that displays the folder hierarchy in the Library (see the next page). Click the + sign next to Advertising Media and then Creatives to see the subcategories of media available to choose from. Clicking the check box next to a category will add it as a selected entry to return results for. We recommend selecting only one or two categories at a time to limit the amount of results you will receive when searching. After selecting the desired categories click the Apply button and you will be returned to the search pane. Now you will need to click the Search button in the bottom right on the pane to bring up all the creatives for the categories you chose. If you wish to narrow your results further you can search for keywords. 8 P a g e

Ordering a TV Commercial To order a Television spot, please visit the Pandora Marketing Center Portal and click the New Request button. Select Create below the Commercial Request type. Clicking Create will prompt the Job Name window where you can enter a user-friendly name for your submission such as Mother s Day commercial. Press Save to advance to the next step. Requesting Store Information: Request forms fields will vary depending on your request type, but all have specific fields marked with an asterisk that are mandatory and must be completed before your request can be submitted. Advertisement Region Select the appropriate region for your advertisement. Note: this field drives visibility of other fields on the request form. Advertisement Language Select the language in which you wish your commercial voiceover to be recorded. Note: It is your responsibility to provide full translations for the commercial. PANDORA cannot provide translations for voiceovers. Delivery Date The valid value date includes the necessary production timeframe for your commercial to be produced. Please do not enter a date sooner than the valid date populated. [If you are running a commercial on a Canadian network, please be sure to build in the necessary time to have the station approve and close caption your commercial.] On Air Date Please build in enough time for your commercial to be produced and delivered before your television campaign begins. As a rule of thumb, build in 10 business days (or two weeks) from order submission to on air date. Commercial Selection Commercial Preview link This link will open an additional window where you can browse the Library for the commercial of your choice. When in the Library it is recommended to use the List View mode so that you can see the name of the commercial alongside the thumbnail. To preview a commercial click on the thumbnail image which will open an additional window that the file can be played in. Commercial Type This is where you will select the commercial campaign you would like to use. Example: Generic, Mother s Day, Holiday, etc. 10 P a g e
Voiceover This section is dedicated to customizing the voiceover you would like to have in your commercial. Depending on the commercial you have selected voiceover options may change. Many of the current commercials are limited to only mentioning the store name and if time permits a directional statement. Discover all the ways to express the Art of You when you visit Jim Smith Jewelry at Columbia Mall Bold text is the store tag with directional. Please keep the following in mind while entering your copy: Total tag lengths include any specific campaign voiceover copy that is listed on the form. This cannot be changed or altered. Type the voiceover text in the exact manner you would like it spoken. Your voiceover will be recorded precisely as it is written. If a voiceover needs to be recorded again, there will be an incremental fee. If a pronunciation guide is not included we will try our best, but cannot guarantee that it will be correct. If a voiceover needs to be recorded again, there will be an incremental fee. If the text you have entered does not meet our marketing guidelines (i.e. promotional text, exclusivity language, etc.) it will not be confirmed, and the request will be returned to you for revision. On Screen This section provides Production with the exact information needed to create your commercial s dealer tag. Concept Store This is used for PANDORA exclusive stores only. Concept store and Multi-brand - Use this option if a PANDORA store and multi-brand are participating together in a commercial. Typeset Store Name Use this option if you would like Production to type your store s information in lieu of a logo. I will upload the logo or logos Use this option if you choose to upload your logo. Please Note: Production cannot pick up logos from previous orders. It is the responsibility of the order enterer to complete this step. Black logos are preferred in an AI or EPS file format. On Screen Store Information This section is used for any additional information you would like added below your logo. See the next page for examples. 11 P a g e
Example of retailer providing their own logo: Example of retailer without a logo: Example of Concept Store: 12 P a g e
Specs & Delivery This section provides the production team with the exact information needed to release your commercial to your specified network. When negotiating a media buy, it is important to ask your network for their preferred delivery method. This will ensure the commercial is delivered in a timely manner as your media partner would like to receive it. Partial or incorrect delivery information could result in an additional fee for re-delivery. Note: Production cannot pick up upload instructions or station information from a previous order. It is your responsibility to provide this information. Missing or partial information may result in your commercial not being delivered. Orders with the notes, you have one file or use from last order will not be released. Once all fields are filled in, please press Submit, Next Step at the top right corner of the job window and then click Submit on the confirmation window. You will be notified once a proof is available for review. For questions concerning production, please contact NATV@pandora.net. 13 P a g e
The Library Module The Pandora Marketing Center s [Library] module is the counter-part to the Pandora Cloud Library. Any marketing information found in the PMC [Library] can also be found in the Pandora Cloud Library. The key difference however is the addition of creative assets for you to browse. Within the [Library] you will be able to view all available sample creatives for advertising along with low-resolution previews of available TV commercials. Navigating the [Library] can be accomplished in two ways, the first and fastest being the folder hierarchy on the left hand side. The hierarchy is a visual representation of how the assets are organized in folders by releases, campaigns, and supporting materials. Click the plus icon next to a folder name to expand the folder. Clicking the minus will collapse the folder and hide all of its sub-folders from view. It is important to note that the [Library] uses a cumulative searching system. When clicking on a folder s name, you will be narrowing any searches you perform to that particular folder and any directories under it. For example, in image to the right the Winter / Holiday folder has been clicked. If the user was to search for autumn they wouldn t receive any search results because it was limited to that particular folder. Click the Reset selection button at the top of the hierarchy before performing the search to clear the filtering and allow the user to search the entire library for the keyword autumn. Searching The second method for finding particular assets is to perform a search using keywords. Every asset that is uploaded into the [Library] has keywords associated with it. These keywords will include basic products (if applicable), season or campaign, and year, along with more specific keywords such as model if the asset has a model in it. If you click on an asset it will open up the asset details window with a larger thumbnail. From this window you can see a list of keywords along with additional information related to the document or creative. 14 P a g e
Additional information such as licensing agreements or validity dates can also be found within the window on the different tabs. (see below) Search results are displayed automatically in the List View mode. When moving your mouse cursor over the thumbnail of an asset, a small white checkbox will appear in the bottom right corner. Clicking the checkbox will select the asset. Multiple assets can be selected at the same time to perform batch functions such as downloading the thumbnails, added them to your favorites, or adding multiple creatives to a request. Lastly, any items that you as the user upload into the PMC are stored within the [Library]. These files can be accessed and removed by clicking the Collection link just above the search pane on the main [Library] page. Within the collection page there are additional categories to select from. My Assets/Uploads will contain those items you have uploaded. (image below) 15 P a g e
The Review Manager Module Proofing is a critical part of making sure your advertisement is correct before a graphic artist releases it to a publication/vendor. When an artist has completed creating your advertisement they will attach a proof to your request and invite you to review the work. An automated is issued upon the invitation to alert you that a proof is ready for your approval. If you are a PANDORA Cloud user you will need to log in to the PMC prior to using the link provided in the . Otherwise on the portal page you will want to click the Approvals button and this will direct you into the [Review Manager]. The button defaults you to the Approvals I participate in view which will list all active proofs. (image below) Clicking an available proof will bring up the markup section of the [Review Manager]. When viewing your proof and providing markup there are handful of tools for you to use to help communicate desired changes to the artist. By clicking the button with quotation icon you will bring up a pane with an annotate tool, circle tool, and square tool. (next page) For each markup item you add to the proof you can enter notes on the right hand side of the window. Note: Make sure to hit enter/return on your keyboard to submit any comments you enter. After providing any necessary markup/comments submit the review based on the following choices. Select the relevant option and then click the submit button. Note: Once you have submitted your review you will be unable to make any additional markup. (next page) Approved This option should be selected if no markup/comments were added and no changes need to be made. Approved with changes This option is used for very minor corrections, such as a typing error. Return for revisions This option is used whenever markup is provided and the artist needs to revise the work. Your advertisement proof will be submitted a second time for your approval. You will need to complete the new approval before your ad will be released. Not relevant This option is used if the creative provided is not what you originally requested. Please reference your original request form to confirm whether the image was requested. 16 P a g e
Left to Right, Top to Bottom Annotation Tools (Selection, Annotate, Drawing) Annotation Tools menu (quotation icon) Approval Status selection area Comments pane (linked to annotation markup at the bottom of the proof) Annotation tool markup exclamation icon (icons can be changed on the comments pane under the gear/settings icon) 17 P a g e
Build-an-Ad Module The Build-an-Ad module mirrors the WTP eblast creation service. Within the module you will initially be able to create custom advertisements and later self-create print ads. To begin creating an eblast you will first need to navigate to the module. 1. Click the BUILD-AN-AD portal button. Clicking the button will take you to a subpage where you will see additional buttons with the same icon, but different labels. The labels indicate which kind of template you can search for (e.g. Eblasts ). Click on the desired template button to go in to the module and see available template choices. If you are revisiting a previously created eblast please skip to Step 3. a. Alternatively, you can click on the BUILD-AN-AD button on the navigation bar to directly access the module without searching for a template. On the main module screen if you are creating a new eblast you will need to click the Search button in the middle of the page to pull up all the available templates. 2. Many templates contain more than one creative option, choose your template by name to ensure you will be using the appropriate campaign for your template. Click the Use button in the bottom right corner of the template that you wish to edit. Note: Templates can be split by promotion, campaign type, and market regions. 18 P a g e
3. If you are revisiting an unfinished template or need to revise one you have saved, click the My advertising materials link on the left hand navigation. Any valid templates that you saved will be listed. Click the Right Arrow icon on the desired template and then Edit to use it. 4. The next page that will load is the overview level of the editor. On this screen there will be three main actions that you will be making depending on where you are in the ad creation process. As this is a new template, the first step is to choose a variant. Click the Choose variant button to open the next window. 19 P a g e
5. In all templates variant is defined as the Store Configuration/Layout. Select the option that best represents your needs for how many stores and/or logos you wish to include. NOTE: If you do not see an option that meets your needs you will need to submit a regular Advertisement Request form instead. Make sure that the checkbox for Refresh preview is checked as this will reduce the need for updating the preview and then click the Save button. 6. After clicking, you will be returned to the overview screen and the next step, Edit document, will be made available to click on. Note: The preview area on the right hand side may no longer show a creative or background image. This is only confirming that a configuration change has been made, but the creative has not been selected yet which is handled in the next step. Click the Edit document button to be taken into the layout editor. 20 P a g e
7. The layout editor is where you will be able to enter your store information, upload a logo, or typeset your store name (based on the variant chosen). If you decide that you need a different variant you can change it by clicking the More actions button at the top of the screen and then selecting Choose variant. Note: If you select a different variant, make sure to click the Refresh button to update the fields on the right hand side as well as the preview image. a. Within the layout editor are a few visual elements to help identify the piece that you are interacting with. In the preview image the field you are modifying will be filled with a light red/pink color. b. You can quickly check the different creative types by moving the mouse cursor over an image to see the preview. Select a creative and enter your store information in the panel on the right, then hit the Refresh button to update the preview. If you selected a variant that include a logo image, Step 7c covers how to manipulate the image. 21 P a g e
A refreshed preview, showing the selected creative, typeset store name, and store information filled out. 22 P a g e
c. When selecting a variant that offers the inclusion of a logo you will need to either upload the logo or select it from media that you have already uploaded within the Build-an-Ad module. Logos and other assets do not cross between the Build-an-Ad module and other module in the PMC. If you have attached a logo to a request form you will need to re-upload the file in order to use it. The files are stored in the Library module > Collection > Own Build-an-Ad pictures section. Select the Add media button next to the logo field you wish to update. d. A new window will open with a range of tabs. If you need to import your logo, click the Import tab and then the Browse button to open up the system explorer window to locate your logo. Once Imported, click the Save button in the bottom right of the window. e. If you have uploaded a logo before in another eblast template you should navigate to the Own media tab. Here you will see a list of the different files you have uploaded into the module. Mouse over the thumbnail of your logo and then click the checkbox that appears below the image. Next, click the Use selected media objects button to complete the process. Note: If your logo is not a high enough DPI then it will appear fuzzy or not fill the allotted space for logos. It will have a read border if it is not of suitable quality for the template. You will need to remove the file and upload a higher quality version. 23 P a g e
f. Your logo now appears on the right side of the layout editor. Next, click the Refresh button to update your preview image. Note: Not all logos will fit in the horizontal format. The size is limited to adhere to our advertising guidelines. If your logo is in a vertical format we recommend using one of the Typeset Store Name variants. 8. Review the preview image and content that you have entered on the right hand side of the layout editor to verify accuracy. If you are ready to export the eblast for your use, click the Export or Download button along the top bar and select the desired file type if an option is given. After exporting click the large Save and close button in the upper right corner of the window and you will be returned to the overview screen. 24 P a g e
9. The last step will be to either save the edited version of the template by clicking the Finalize or Close document buttons. If you click the Close and delete button the document will not be saved. 10. If you opt to save the document, the following window will appear where you will be able to name the document for saving. The Affiliate ID and Validity date fields should not be modified. After saving, you have completed your eblast. 25 P a g e
