3 Count on Calyx Getting Started We re excited to help you improve your disclosure delivery and tracking skills through Webcaster and INK-it. This course is designed to help you increase your hands-on knowledge while providing you with expert help from our Professional Services Group. Your manual includes repeatable learning features, an area for your notes and a visual guide to help you understand the content of this class. Keep it handy as you continue to learn about Point. General Class Procedures Please understand this is a Point Software program class and not a how-to originate or process loans class. Your instructor will not answer specific loan questions except as related to the software. It would be helpful if your questions are related to the topic at hand. If not, your instructor likely will defer the answer until that topic is covered. This is not a hands-on class: You are welcome to use your personal computer to follow the instructions but your instructor cannot take the time to support any technical problems with your equipment or software. Please turn off cell phones and other devices during the instruction time: This is simple courtesy to the other students. The training room will be locked or otherwise secure during the breaks. You may leave your class material if you wish, however, please take your valuables with you. Neither Calyx Software nor your instructor is responsible for any loss or damage to your personal items. 12 Download Application into Point Loan Application Password Select which Data Folder to place the loan in. As a: Borrower, and how to assign a Filename Calyx Help: Page 11

14 Import Master Template / Overlay Master Template Select the appropriate Master Template from the list. Calyx Help: Page 13

16 Requesting Documents from Customer Select line items that do not apply to this borrower and Delete Calyx Help: Page 15

17 Document Requests Check the Requested box for all remaining items to fill in the date that each document was requested from the borrower. Calyx Help: Page 16

18 Requesting Documents Use the Shift key to select documents and then Send/Retrieve Add in any notes to the Borrower. They will see this note when they log into the website to view the document requests. Calyx Help: Page 17

19 Document Requests through Webcaster If the borrower has already agreed to edisclosure on the website, your Document Request will be completed. An will be automatically generated to your borrowers, informing them of the requested documents Calyx Help: Page 18

20 Borrower consent to edisclosure If the Borrower has not registered on the website, this message will appear informing you the Borrower has not accessed the edisclosure consent statement. In this case, an account is automatically created on the borrower s behalf and an notification is sent. The default password is the borrower s social security number. Calyx Help: Page 19

22 Once the Borrower consents to edisclosure, the Document Request may be re-sent from Point An will be automatically generated informing your borrower of the requested documents Calyx Help: Page 21

23 Borrower can attach each document that was requested. Calyx Help: Page 22

24 Documents sent by Borrower will be found in the Document Management repository in Point Simply select Send/Retrieve and all documents uploaded by the borrower will be imported into the loan file in Point Each document will open in a preview window, allowing you to select from several options for saving and naming the document. 27 Requesting Disclosures from a Customer Complete the same steps as if you were printing disclosures. Change the Output Option to Store. The click Store as one file. Name the disclosure packet Calyx Help: Page 26

29 Highlight your disclosure packet in the Document Management window, and click Send/Retrieve Add any notes to the borrower. Indicate if signatures are required on this set of documents. Calyx Help: Page 28

36 Sorting Documents with Stacking Orders Inside of the Document Management repository, you have the ability to select from different stacking orders. Stacking orders are used to specify the sequence of forms in the document repository. Calyx Help: Page 35
