This document is prepared, issued and revised by HBC for the exclusive use of its customers and is intended to be used for provisioning, requisitioning, storing and issuing line replaceable airplane parts. The contents are proprietary to HBC and its customers and are subject to change. The use of any part of this document by any other person or persons, or for any other purpose without the prior consent of HBC is expressly prohibited. This document is produced to support the configuration of the airplane at the time of delivery to the original customer and does not necessarily reflect the current configuration of any specific airplane. In addition to this manual and its subsequent revisions, additional maintenance information is published in the form of HBC service bulletins. The information contained in these service bulletins is an integral part of, and is to be used in conjunction with, the information contained in this manual. A. General The Model 390 Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) is prepared in accordance with the requirements of ATA 00 (Air Transport Association of America) with respect to the arrangement and content of the System/ Chapters within the designated numbering system. This manual is supplemented by the following publications: The Model 390 Airworthiness Limitations Manual, P/N The Model 390 Maintenance Manual, P/N The Model 390 Wiring Diagram Manual, P/N The Model 390 Component Maintenance Manual, P/N The Model 390 Structural Repair Manual, P/N Page OCT 0/7
4 It shall be the responsibility of the owner/operator to ensure that the latest revision of the publications referenced in this manual are utilized during operation, servicing and maintenance of the airplane. Hawker Beechcraft Corporation expressly reserves the right to supersede, cancel and/or declare obsolete any parts, part numbers, kits or publications that may be referenced in this manual without prior notice. WARNING: Use only parts obtained from sources approved by Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, in connection with the maintenance and repair of Hawker Beechcraft Corporation airplanes. Genuine Hawker Beechcraft Corporation parts are produced and inspected under rigorous procedures to insure airworthiness and suitability for use in Hawker Beechcraft Corporation airplane applications. Parts purchased from sources other than those approved by Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, even though outwardly identical in appearance, may not have the required tests and inspections performed, may be different in fabrication techniques and materials, and may be dangerous when installed in an airplane. Salvaged airplane parts, reworked parts obtained from sources not approved by the Hawker Beechcraft Corporation or parts, components or structural assemblies, the service history of which is unknown or cannot be authenticated, may have been subjected to unacceptable stresses or temperatures or have other hidden damage not discernible through routine visual or usual nondestructive testing techniques. This may render the part, component or structural assembly, even though originally manufactured by the Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, unsuitable and unsafe for airplane use. Hawker Beechcraft Corporation expressly disclaims any responsibility for malfunctions, failures, damage or injury caused by use of parts not approved by the Hawker Beechcraft Corporation. B. Correspondence If a question should arise concerning the care of your airplane, it is important to include the airplane serial number in any correspondence. The serial number appears on the model designation placard. Refer to Chapter for placard location. C. Publications Change Request (PCR) If an irregularity or missing information is noted, the user of this manual may access a PCR form at /pubs.hawkerbeechcraft.com. Instructions on how to submit a PCR are included on the web page. D. Variation Numbers Some parts on the airplane may be identified with -6xx, -7xx, -6xxx, -7xxx, -6 U, -006 U, U part number suffixes. These suffixes (dash numbers) are used when a part has been produced to a configuration different than to the Engineering. Examples of these differences can include but are not limited to an additional trim allowance, holes undrilled, and assemblies without all the attaching parts or with additional parts. These dash numbers may not necessarily be in the Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) therefore, when ordering parts, it is important to quote the part number as found in the IPC. Page OCT 0/7
5 . MANUAL LAYOUT A. Front Matter () Title Page A Title page is located at the beginning of the manual and provides the part number of the manual, and lists all airplane models pertaining to this manual and their respective serial numbers. Information throughout this manual is applicable to all serial numbers listed on the title page except where specifically stated. () Record of Revisions A Record of Revisions page is provided for the purpose of recording revisions inserted into this IPC. When the revision is inserted, the revision number, the date the revision is inserted and the initials of the person(s) inserting the revision should be recorded on this page. IML CD and Online Parts Catalogs do not include a Record of Revisions page. Revision standard is available by a link to the catalog Title Page or accessible by clicking Help on the menu bar and selecting About This IML Book.... (3) Introduction This section contains general and specific information on the contents of this catalog. Also, it has specific explanations of the HBC part-numbering system and instructions on how to use this catalog. (4) Numerical Index The Numerical Index is a complete alphabetical and numerical (alpha/numeric) listing of all part numbers contained in the Parts List of this IPC. The index is divided into two sections, Numerical Index-Alpha and Numerical Index-Numeric. The first section contains part numbers whose first digit is an alpha character and the second section contains part numbers whose first digit is a numeric character. Entries in these indexes refer to the Chapter, Section, Unit, Figure and Item Number (CSUFI) in the Parts List. Common hardware items having more than ten locations, are listed in the Numerical Index without locations and with a total quantity representing all locations unless the total quantity is greater than 999, where AR is listed. IML CD and Online versions of the IPC do not have the alpha/numeric list incorporated. The IML CD and Online viewer software incorporates a search feature that will permit searches using either the part number or part description. The Searching an IML Parts Catalog section details the search feature. (5) Effective Pages and Table of Contents The Effective Pages following each chapter divider tab lists a summary of all Chapter-Section-Unit-Figure and Page numbers, with the current effective date for all pages applicable to that chapter. An asterisk (*) preceding the entry indicates that the page has been added or revised by the current revision. The Chapter Table of Contents following the Effective Pages is sequentially arranged in Chapter-Section-Unit and Figure number order. The airplane effectivity is also listed. Page 3 OCT 0/7
6 B. Organization This IPC is organized in accordance with the Air Transport Association (ATA) Specification No. 00 format. The contents are organized into five levels as follows: () Chapter - Identified by yellow divider tabs. The various groups are broken down into major systems such as Environmental Systems, Electrical Power, Landing Gear, etc. Each system is assigned a chapter, which becomes the first element of the standard numbering system. The element "8" in chapter refers to the chapter Fuel. Everything concerning the fuel system will be covered in this chapter. () Section - The major systems of an airplane are broken down into subsections, and are identified by the second element of the standard numbering system. The element 40 of identifies the Indicating portion of the fuel system. (3) Unit - The individual units within a subsystem/section may be identified by the third element of the standard numbering system. The element 0 of the number is a subject designator. This element is assigned at the option of the manufacturer and will not necessarily agree with any other manual. (4) Figure - Figures are the final definition of the breakdown system. The element 0 of represents the figure of the parts list. Some installations or assemblies may be good only for certain airplane serials. These figure locations break up the installations or assemblies so they can be listed for just the airplane serials they effect. (5) Item - The items are the numeric value in the Fig. Item column on the text page assigned to the part number. This number corresponds to the number in the Illustration. If however, the item number has a dash (-) preceding it, that part is a non-illustrated item in the list. Example: 0 would be illustrated and -0 would not. 3. DETAILED PARTS LIST The Parts List consists of installations broken down into assemblies, sub-assemblies, detail parts and attaching parts. A. Column Breakdown () Figure and Item No. Column This column contains the figure number, of the illustration that shows the parts and the item numbers that locate the parts on the illustration. Parts not illustrated will carry a (-) before the item number. () Part Number Column This column contains the part number assigned to each part. (a) Long Part Number (Overlength Part Number) When a part number exceeds 7 characters, the part number column will have either a reference/coded part number (RACREF) or +# at the end of 7 characters and the complete manufacturer s part number will then be shown in the nomenclature column. That is the part number to use when requisitioning replacement parts. Refer to Figure, item 7. Page 4 OCT 0/7
7 (b) Dash Numbers A part number (i.e., -) in the Illustrated Part Catalog may appear, when ordering a part through Hawker Beechcraft Parts & Distribution (HBP&D), as a -, -0, -00 or These dash numbers are considered equivalent and identifiers of the same part. (3) Nomenclature Column NOTE: IML CD and Online Catalogs use Description instead of Nomenclature as the Nomenclature Column header. (a) Indenture For proper identification of details of assemblies, the listings employ the indention system. Each installation or assembly is broken down to the next indentation to the right. Conversely, the next higher indentation for an installation or assembly for any detail is listed above it Installation. Detail parts for installation. Assembly. Attaching parts for assembly * Detail parts for assembly.. Sub-Assembly.. Attaching parts for sub-assembly * Detail parts for sub-assembly (b) Left and Right Handed Parts If two assemblies are made up of a majority of identical parts, or the assemblies are opposite, (i.e., left and right hand), the assemblies are listed together with their detail parts listed as common for both assemblies. In this case only the left or right hand part, but not both, is illustrated, with the difference between left and right hand parts noted in the description column. (c) Attaching Parts Attaching parts are listed immediately after the assembly or detail part they attach. An opening separation symbol, ATTACHING PARTS, followed by a closing separation symbol, * , distinguishes the listing of attaching parts from a subsequent listing of parts with the same indention. Refer to Figure, items through 4. Page 5 OCT 0/7
8 (d) Nomenclature Qualifiers The following qualifiers are used in the nomenclature column: (4) Effectivity Column Alternate - Identifies the part number of an interchangeable part. Spare - A preferred replacement part. 3 True Part Number - Indentifies the part number listed in the correct format to be used for ordering the part. Refer to Figure. 4 Pre - Indentifies those parts that were used prior to the incorporation of a kit or service bulletin. 5 Rotable Item - Identifies to the user that the part is a candidate for procurement as either, overhauled, repaired or new. If the Usable On Code column lists an alpha then that will indicate the effectivity. Refer to the end of the parts list of that particular figure to determine the effectivity of the alpha. Each figure has its own distinct coding, i.e., the code number denoting airplane serial effectivity for one figure may not be the same as it is for another. The range consists of 0 digits showing a five digit serial number where the effectivity starts and a five digit serial number where the effectivity ends. If no alpha is listed in the column, then the effectivity for the figure (and all its items) will be for all airplanes. The following table shows an example of the range representation: USABLE ON CODE Column Effectivity (at the end of figure) Airplane(s) A RB00-RB00 RB- only B RB00-RB009 RB- THRU RB-9 C RB00-RB03 RB- thru RB-3 D RB00-RB009 RB-RB074 RB078-RB999 RB- thru RB-9 RB-4 thru RB-74 RB-78 and after FE Figure Effectivity All airplanes for the figure No alpha code listed None listed All airplanes (5) Units Per Assembly Column This column lists the quantity of the units required for the next higher assembly of the part. The quantity of attaching parts is the quantity required to attach one unit (piece) of the part they attach. The notation RF in the Units Per Assy column indicates that the part number is Reference only. The notation AR indicates that part is As Required and indicates the parts vary in the number required to properly build the assembly. Page 6 OCT 0/7
9 4. HOW TO USE THIS CATALOG A. Graphic Examples MODEL 390 ILLUSTRATED PARTS CATALOG Figure is an example that shows the indenture system used to indicate parts included in any given assembly. These part numbers are only examples. By this indenture system, parts shown in column are component parts of the immediately preceding assembly in column. Parts shown in column 3 are component parts of the immediately preceding assembly in column, etc., through column 7. As an example, if the PUSH ROD ASSEMBLY is ordered, it would include items 5 through 3. Note that items through 4, bolts, washers and nuts (the attaching parts) are not a part of the PUSH ROD ASSEMBLY. There may be instances when a part number consists of more than 7 characters. In that case the complete number will appear in the nomenclature (refer to item 7). The examples in Figures and 3 show how to locate a part when the part number is known and how to locate a part number when the description is known. Page 7 OCT 0/7

FILTERING AN IML PARTS CATALOG MODEL 390 ILLUSTRATED PARTS CATALOG Interactive Illustrated Parts Catalogs in the Interactive Maintenance Library (IML) have the ability to "filter out" unnecessary parts and only display parts applicable to a specific airplane serial effectivity. This feature is available on the CD and Online Parts Catalogs and can significantly reduce the amount of data presented in the parts list window and chapter Table of Contents. Filtering applies only for the currently open IML parts catalog. When another IML manual is opened or upon exiting the viewer, the filter setting is lost. NOTE: IML can only filter for one airplane at a time. Filtering for multiple airplanes or a range of airplanes is not available. A. Filtering a DVD-based IML Parts Catalog Open an IPC. It is not necessary to be on any particular page. When the Filter is set, it will be applied to the entire manual. () Select Aircraft Prefix as applicable and enter Serial Number. () Select Filter. NOTE: A serial number must be set when the filter is turned on or zero results will be available. (3) When filtering is on, a notification identifying the aircraft prefix and serial number is displayed in the top left corner of the screen. The notification remains until the filter is turned off. (4) To turn off the filter select Turn Off Filter. B. Filtering an Online IML Parts Catalog Open an IPC. It is not necessary to be on a particular page. When a filter is set, it will be applied to the entire manual. () Select Aircraft Prefix as applicable and enter a Serial Number. () Select Turn On Filter. NOTE: A serial number must be set when the filter is turned on or zero results will be available. (3) When filtering is on, a red notification identifying the aircraft prefix and serial is displayed in the top right corner of the screen. Also available are Clear and Change selections. (4) Select Clear removes the filter. Selecting Change displays a box where the serial number can be chnaged. 6. SEARCHING AN IML PARTS CATALOG A. Single Book Search Unless otherwise specified, selecting a search applies to the currently open manual. Multi-book search is described in the Comprehensive User guide available online and the online help (Ref. Step 8). () Select Search from the tool bar. Page OCT 0/7
14 () From the drop-down menu select the type of search to perform. (3) In the top-most text box of the Search dialog box, enter the search data. Enter the whole word or just part of the word (part number etc.). NOTE: Multi-word search is unavailable. (4) Click the Search button. All occurrences of data entered in the box in step 3 are returned. For example, a search for "bolt" would return "bolt", "Bolts", "Jo-bolt", etc. If this returns too much extraneous results, click the Exact Match check box and Search again. This time the search will only return occurrences of "bolt". (5) The search results are displayed in the Matching Text and Page areas. Click the entry in the Matching Text area to select the most closely matching result. The entries listed in the Page area are the locations in the manual where it occurs. (6) Click the entry in the Page area that is the closest to the desired result. (7) Click the Go To button. The manual will open to the location selected and highlight the search word. To go to the next occurrence of the search criteria, click on the " next occurrence " icon (small blue arrow with binoculars). If the results are not satisfactory, go back to the tool bar, select Search again and select another (or different) occurrence. The first search results will remain in place until another search is performed or the viewer is exited. (8) The results of a search can be saved to a plain text Comma-Separated Value (.csv) file that will open as a spreadsheet. Click the Save button and follow the directions. The exact format and structure of the text file is described in detail in the Online Manual. Page OCT 0/7
