2 Simple and clear SAUTER automation station with web on board A web server is integrated as standard so as to enable simple operation with a standard browser, either via PC or touch-panel. The graphic display means that the main information can be identifi ed quickly, so reaction times are kept short. SAUTER modu840 Turn and press all you need is just the one knob for manual operation. Menu prompting on the display is simple and clearly structured, with the help of tables or graphics. Thanks to SAUTER modu840, you benefi t from a clear operating status display with easy access to all the current control parameters. SAUTER EY-modulo emergency operating level All the settings are made directly on the module in question, which is mounted either on the automation station itself, on the I/O modules or remotely (e.g. in the MCC door). Installation and operation of the devices is based on the plug-and-play principle simply snap it on and it s ready. Other features that help you to gain a quick overview include colour LED displays to signal the input and output status for these direct operating units, as well as a generous labelling area. 2

Flexible and intuitive Bedienelemente If you use integrated cutting-edge web technology, you re also comfortable working remotely with control loop displays and alarm overviews at a glance. The result: all the monitoring and operating processes are effi cient, with maximum fl exibility guaranteed. And, not least, that also applies to commissioning and maintenance work. There are three ways of fi tting the device, either integrating it directly or positioning it separately. Input control and function selection are handled intuitively using just one knob. The display automatically shows plant data from the auto mation station. It is easy to enter values, comands and time programmes, with logical steps and intuitive menu prompts. The operating units at the emergency level have a modular structure and can be retrofi tted at any time, even while operation is in progress. To provide even more fl exibility, the units can be separated from the I/O module by as much as six metres with no problems at all. The generous labelling area ensures reliable operation and eliminates ambiguities when interpreting the information. 3
