5 Google Basic Search Skill 2.1.1: Understand the difference between a keyword and an exact phrase search using a basic Google search

25 PART 2: Using Adobe Reader 6.0 Advanced Search Functions The free version of Adobe reader 8.0 or higher has advanced search functions that can greatly help you to improve your specialized writing. 29 Search Method Using Adobe Reader Advanced Search TASK 1 Follow me as I search for the useful structure beginning with To at the beginning of the sentence. After watching me first, try this search yourself. This is a common grammar structure in all fields.

Click here then just highlight to select text to copy and paste the text you want from the file. Note: some PDF files from some journals have security settings so it is not possible to copy and paste or search all text, but this is not common.

39 Limitations: Adobe and Internet Search 1. It doesn t show you your grammar mistakes. It is for checking and editing sentences that you want to check. 2. Just because a search produces no results, it doesn t always mean there is a mistake. These techniques are based on probability. Sample size is important here. I recommend PDFs per CD or folder. 3. You must always evaluate your webpage hits when using Google search. You could be getting your examples from others making the same mistakes! 4. Make sure you are searching only the key words that are the target of your search and not long phrases. NOT As shown in Fig. 7, BUT - > shown in Fig.
