2 Feed Spec Call us: Nextopia accepts feeds in the following formats RSS 2.0, Tab delmitted (.txt ), CSV or any other feed you are currently submitting to any CSE engine ( Shopping.com, Shopzilla, Yahoo, TheFind, Google product search, etc.. ) Important Note: If you would like Nextopia to automate the process of pulling in your feed, your feed must be web accessible. The URL can be any extension, static or dynamic, as long as our servers can get to it Choose the file format that is right for you: Text file ( tab delimited or CSV file ) RSS 2.0 ( xml file ) These attributes must be included in any feed. SKU Name The Product identifier The name of your product Price The price of your product. Do not use currency symbols or commas. ( ) Description Image URL The description of your product The location to your product image The direct link your product detail page Recommend These attributes may be used in your faceted search results or to display more data to the user. Use as many relevant attributes which are specific to your items. Category Brand Color Provided in breadcrumb format. Men s Clothing>Bottoms>Pants If a product is located in multiple categories seperate each breadcrumb path by a (pipe) character. Men s Clothing>Accessories>Belts Gifts>For Men

3 Size Make Model Year Any other information pertaining to your item Parent ID If providing variants that are linked to a parent item, the variant item must contain the parent id in this attribute. Product Variants (child products) Variants are the same product but differentiated by size, color, materials or some other attribute. Variants are linked to a parent item. How to submit variant data Submit the master item and submit one item per variant. For example, if a shirt is offered in 4 sizes ( S, M, L, XL ) you would submit 5 items; 1 master item and 4 variant items. Don t forget to populate the attribute Parent id with the id of the parent item.

4 Text File (Tab delimited or CSV file) STEP 1: Open your spreadsheet program ( Microsoft Excel or Open Office Calc ) STEP 2: Create a header row ( each column is an attribute ). Include the required attributes and another other attribute which pertains to your item. You can add more elements such as brand, color, size etc... to your items.
