6 5 Communications Content Requirements 1. Fresh and Relevant 2. Vetted (manually or through workflow) 3. Categorized or tagged (by practice, department, office, etc.) 4. Targeted (by user) 5. Prioritized / highlighted (by importance, by timeliness)

7 Planning for Communications Content Define the content (particularly the metadata) Define the structure (how will the content be organized/presented?) Identify targeting scenarios (what content will be delivered to which users?) Define content permissions (who can contribute content, when, and what types?) Determine storage model (distributed or centralized?)
