Click the.exe file to continue the installation and give it permission to Run

Click Next to go through the process and Agree to the Terms and License Agreement.

2 By giving it permission to run, you will bring up the Installation Wizard. At this point, you'll need to be sure that all MT4 terminals on your PC are closed. MT4 should not be running during the install. Click Next to go through the process and Agree to the Terms and License Agreement. **Be SURE, that the correct MT4 Root Folder shows up during the Install Process. If the correct terminal is not automatically shown, you will select Add a Meatrader folder and browse your PC to find the correct one. After the right folder is selected, click Next several more times to walk through the final details of your install.

Your terminal should now be re-launched with the EPIC tool installed.

3 Once, the files are installed, click Finish to complete the install and launch your terminal. Your terminal should now be re-launched with the EPIC tool installed. Look under the Expert Advisors section of the MT4 Navigator to ensure that EPIC has been installed on the chosen terminal.

4 Setting Up EPIC: Double Click or Drag EPIC onto the chart. A dialog box should appear with 3 tabs. Click the Common tab to make sure that the settings are right for EPIC to run. Make sure that all outer boxes are check and all inner boxes are unchecked as shown in the image below: Inputs: Risk Percentage: This is the amount of your total account you'd like to risk per trade. EPIC will automatically calculate the size to trade with the chosen Risk percent. Recommended risk is between 1% and 3% per trade.

Show Pending: False will hide the Plines menu item if you do not use Pending Orders. True will keep the Plines button at the top of the chart at all times.

Confirm Orders: If true, this will give you a pop-up box to confirm that you do want to enter the selected trade (to make sure you don't enter trades accidentally). False will skip the confirmation and enter the trade as soon as the Buy or Sell button is selected. Bar Count Down: Setting this to true will display a bar count down for the current time frame in the upper right hand corner of the chart. Display Status: This will show the status of pending and live trades in the right corner of the screen; giving you information like potential risk and potential gain. Show Legend: Setting this to true will show the Legend for the trade management lines, giving you the prices at which your lines are currently placed in the upper left corner of your chart. Magic Number: This is the number EPIC uses to track the trades for which it is responsible. The default should be used unless it conflicts with another EA. Just click to change from Red to Green Using EPIC: Buttons: The EPIC is comprised of 6 buttons (if Pending Lines are enabled). These buttons will be described by definition below and then more specifically in the Handling Lines section. Clicking the buttons will make EPIC perform the action associated with that button; however, sometimes a button will be grayed out meaning that it cannot be used because there is no logical purpose for it. For example, if you do not have a trade open, you cannot use the Close button. It will be grayed out. PLines:

6 Pending Lines. Click this button when you want EPIC to display lines for a pending trade. They will include an Entry Line to specify where you want the trade to enter. The lines are explained in more detail below. This button will only be available when there are no lines on the chart and there is no trade on. This button will not appear if the input Show Pending is set to false. Lines: Market Lines. Click this button when you want EPIC to display lines for a market entry trade. This button will only be available when there are no lines on the chart and there is no trade on. Hide: Click this button when you want to hide PLines or Lines on the chart. This button is only available when there are PLines or Lines on the chart. Buy:

Click this button when you want to enter a buy order. If the PLines are active, you will enter a pending order.

If no lines are active, you will enter a market order with the TP (Take Profit) and SL (Stop Loss) set to the ATR values.

8 Click this button when you want to close an open active or pending trade. This button is only available when there is an active or pending trade open. Handling Lines: EPIC's lines can be confusing at times. There can be as many as three lines active (not including any lines ofyour own) at one time. You will see a legend of the lines in the upper left side of your chart (if you have the Show Legend parameter set to true.) All of them will become second nature after you have used EPIC for a short period of time. When you click the PLines button (Pending Lines) you will see a TP Line (default=blue), SL Line (default=red) and Pending Entry Line (default=pinkish-purpleish.) The lines are configured with the TP Line on top, SL Line on the Bottom and Entry Line in the middle. This is the proper configuration for a Long (Buy) trade. You will need to reverse the locations of the TP and SL Lines for a Short (Sell) trade. Select the TP Line (double-click on it or single-click if you changed it in the Tools/Options/Objects dialog), then click and drag it to your desired take profit location. Select the SL Line, then click and drag it to your desired stop loss location. Select the Entry Line, then click and drag it to your desired trade entry location. You can now click either the Buy or Sell button to open a pending order using the levels you have chosen. The Buy button will only be active if the TP Line is above the Entry Line and the Entry Line is above the SL Line. The Sell button will only be active if the SL Line is above the Entry Line and the Entry Line is above the SL Line. The trade size will correspond to the designated percentage of your trading account. After the trade/order has been executed, the lines will disappear so you can use MT4's lines to manage the trade. Activating the Lines button (Market Lines) is similar, except there is no Pending Entry Line. When you move the TP and SL Lines to your desired locations, clicking the Buy or Sell button will open a market order at the current market price with the TP and SL at your chosen levels with the designated trade size. Again, the Buy button will only be active if the TP Line is above the current market level and the SL Line is below the current market level. The Sell button will only be active if the SL Line is above the current market level and the TP Line is below the current market level. The lines will disappear after the trade/order has been executed. Any time there are lines showing, clicking the Hide button will hide the lines. You can close an open trade or pending order at any time by clicking the Close button. This will also be confirmed with a dialog box. If you lose your lines at any time, just click the Hide button then re-click the appropriate Lines button to show your lines.
