1 General The following sections provide a brief overview of all new and updated MDM functionalities, based on the current 7P MDM release version 5.26.

3 1 General The following sections provide a brief overview of all new and updated MDM functionalities, based on the current 7P MDM release version No delete option for DEP device in device pool The button / option to delete a device, which is in device pool, has been removed for Apple DEP devices. Apple DEP devices in device pool cannot be deleted. As longs as DEP status is equal to Yes in MDM the ios device cannot be deleted from MDM server. Deleting an ios DEP device on a user will move the device to Device pool. Please be aware of when using Tenant DEP token instead of Global tenant DEP token, then the device is moved to the Device pool of that tenant and cannot be moved to other tenants, since it belongs to that tenant where this DEP token belongs to. Enrollment failure: display the duplicated serial number Duplicate check error is displayed in device details (Organisation > Setup > Device data) and log page (Dashboard > Logs). A tooltip shows the serial number of the duplicate device. Searching for this serial number in Global view shows the duplicate device and its user.

4 In Dashboard > Logs the information is more detailed. Usability improvements of platform filters OS type icons have been added to Applications and Configurations. Platform types have been added to filters (Android, ios and Windows).

5 Up to 500 characters allowed in comment field The maximum number of characters for the comment field has been extended from 200 to 500. The comment text is also displayed uncut in Device details for devices in device pool.

6 Kiosk setting app: Clear app data button and trigger The Kiosk setting app that is an add-on for the Kiosk app now has a clear button, which clears browser data. Automatic update of version numbers for Google Play / itunes AppStore apps The version number of Google Play and AppStore apps can be updated automatically using a scheduler script. Furthermore, now AppStore apps can be included to a condition Newer version available. The job needs to be added manually in global view (Operations > Scheduler).

7 Define new DEP profile -button improved If no DEP token is available, the button "Define new profile" is inactive.

Note: Audit logs are not available in tenant view but only in Global view.

8 New audit log events Performing actions like delete, create, update an admin, changing the password of an admin and create, update and delete a role are now included to audit log. Note: Audit logs are not available in tenant view but only in Global view. Admin cannot select a mandatory app list for Remove configuration Mandatory app list cannot be removed anymore.

9 LDAP mapping now is tenant individual LDAP mapping for each tenant is now individual. This means that you in tenant A can have LDAP mapping to X AD attributes and in another tenant on same instance LDAP mapping to Y AD attributes. Organization info is mandatory for DEP In Settings > ios Organization info is now mandatory. Leaving this field blank will show a notification when trying to save.

10 IMEI have been added to device pool info Now the device info box in the device pool displays the IMEI and it is also possible to search for the IMEI.

11 Infrastructure > Certificates: Logic and layout has been improved Certificate type can be selected via drop-down menu. Identity is pre-selected. The button to upload a certificate is inactive. You have to enter a password first to be able to upload a certificate. If certificate type Trust is selected, the upload button is active. It does not need a password.

The user name / email is not an active URL and the button to edit account has been removed.

SAG status visualization in Organization > Device has been changed There are three SAG status: Blocked, Unblocked and Null or N/A (device does not have an ActiveSync ID). The third one has been renamed to "Not available".

URL-based media files cannot be sent to macos-device Because macos does not support URL-based media objects, installing them via Device > Actions > Install media

If this is done via operations, an error "MacOS does not support this media type" will appear when hovering over the status "Error" in History > Actions.

App deletion error message includes the related operation name If admin tries to delete an application which is used in an operation, he will get an error message. Now this message includes also the related operation name, which helps admin to fix the issue, if needed.

14 Feedback message after successful CSV import After the CSV import is successful the message "Import successful! The page will refresh in 5 seconds." will appear. Terminology harmonization: Free and Paid for ios and Android Using "Free" and "Paid" for both OS ios and Android.
