1 1 LARA EDQ USER GUIDE 1.1 VIEWING EDQ DATA EDQ offers a web based HMI providing a graphical display of the data sets currently available in the EDQ database. Figure 1 EDQ HMI The graphical display uses colours to indicate the Route Segment assignment. Unassigned segments are highlighted in red Your account name is displayed in the upper left corner. Click the logout button or close the browser to logout. Figure 2 Account Information

2 1.1.4 For OPS and PREOPS data sets it is possible to select an AMC to visualise the airspace they have been allocated. Figure 3 AMC Selection Selecting an AMC causes the allocated airspace to be highlighted. Figure 4 Selected AMC

3 1.2 MANUAL ROUTE SEGMENT AMC ALLOCATION With an AMC selected it is then possible to manually update the allocated CDR Segments. Segments whose allocation has been manually changed (either allocated or unallocated) are shown thicker than others. Figure 5 An unallocated Route Segment

7 1.3 AMC DATA DOWNLOAD Once a data set is complete it can be extracted ready for download. Figure 14 Data Set Extraction By checking the Drop CDR Type-3 option, the extracted dataset shall not include any Type-3 CDR timesheets. Leave the option unchecked if you would like Type-3 timesheets. Figure 15 Drop CDR Type-3 Option The extracted data set is then available for preview before downloading. Figure 16 Extracted Data Set

8 1.3.4 The extracted data sets are kept available by the EDQ so they can be redownloaded at a later date. Figure 17 Previously Extracted Data Sets Extracted data sets can be downloaded in either AIXM 5.1 or CACD format by selecting the required format When selecting to download the data in CACD format the user is prompted with the following question. 9 1.3.7 By selecting Standard the downloaded data will contain all airspace and corresponding FBZ definitions and their FUA restrictions. When selecting FBZs the downloaded data will contain airspace whose UUIDs have been substituted for their FBZ UUID and FUA restrictions corresponding to the FBZ only. 1.4 LAYER CONTROLS In addition to the functionality supporting the data set modification, extraction and download the EDQ offers some simple layer controls. These allow the toggling of the visibility features on the map. Figure 19 Layer Controls It is possible to change the background map to use OpenStreetMap data by switching the Map to OSM.
