1 Online Activation Step 1: Set up a ParkPlus Cell Phone Account: To activate a parking session using the online activation tool, you must have a ParkPlus cell phone account. To set up a ParkPlus account, visit Create user ID, contact information, password, enter user information and make a deposit (minimum of $25.00) on account. If the account is only to be used for Online Activation purposes only, enter in an office or home phone number and a temporary license plate for the user information. After the account set up is complete, you can delete the phone and license plate information. When the account set up is complete, log in to your ParkPlus account using your log in name and password. Step 2: Click on the Online Activation tab at the top of the page. Enter date, start/end time, zone number and license plate information for any parking sessions you wish to activate. Online Activations can be performed in advance for your function. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is not guaranteed. No refunds will be issued if a parking session is activated and the space is not used or an alternative location is used. If you perform the set up in advance, we strongly suggest that you confirm the information that has been entered, because the parker for whom the session was set up may have selected an alternate parking zone. NOTES: Changes can be made to an Online Activation parking session up to the minute prior to the start of the session without any financial impact. Once the parking session has started, the parking cost will be deducted. If the session is stopped, your account will be credited for the unused time. A minimum fee applies to all online activation parking sessions. The minimum fee will vary depending on the zone number for which the session was activated. Online activations can be set up for times and dates in the future. However, a payment cannot be back dated. You cannot activate a parking session for a date and time that has already occurred. When a parking session is activated using the Online Activation system, it must be deactivated (stop session) using the Online Activation system. 2 Online Activation Screenprints Once you have logged into your ParkPlus account and clicked on the Online Activation tab, the following screen will appear: 2
3 Scroll over and select the date you wish to activate a parking session for. 3
4 Enter in the required fields 1. Name of event 2. Time From To 3. License plate (without spaces or hyphens) 4. Zone number 5. Notification Method Optional 6. Notification Details Optional only required if #5 above is selected. 7. Copy to new row If you are entering multiple vehicles to start at the same time, this feature will be beneficial. NOTE: if this is chosen, you will need to revise the license plate after information is submitted. 8. Select the Submit button. 4
5 It is possible to set up a parking session for the same time period but different zone number. Ensure the correct zone number is entered after copying to a new row. 5
6 After Submit is selected, the following screen will appear: 6
7 At any time prior to the start time of the Online Activation, additions and deletions can be processed. Simply scroll over and select the Name of the event. 7
8 Additions can be made to an existing Online Activation by selecting Copy to new row from the last license plate entered. Select the Submit button. 8
9 Changes or corrections are possible after Submit is selected, however; they must be done prior to the start time ( From ). To delete a license plate, select the garbage can icon; located on the right hand side under Delete. Then select Submit. 9
10 To stop a parking session after the session has started; select the Name of the event on the calendar. Choose the session you would like to stop/deactivate by Stop session next to the chosen session. Then select Submit. 10
11 In the event, the session was stopped/deactivated in error, simply select the Undo button. Then select Submit. The parking session will then continue for the remainder of the To time. 11
12 In the event you wish to set up other vehicles for a different time period; it is necessary to set up another Event under the same calendar date. 12
13 Recurrence Step Up This feature is used to set up a recurring parking session for the same time, same zone and same vehicle(s) that are listed under the same event name. To set up a recurring parking session, for the same vehicle(s), same From and To and same zone number; after the initial event is set up and Submit is selected. Select the Recurrence button 13

15 It is not necessary to select Repeats ; it is currently set to a systems default. The system is also defaulted to Repeat every 1 week. Select the days of the week you wish to Repeat On. It is not necessary to select Starts ; it is set to a system default. Check off the Until feature: Enter in the end date in the box using the format in the sample. 15

18 History To view any changes or update that have been completed on a parking transaction, select the History button. This area provides information on when the parking session was created and when it was updated. 18
