Enhancement DDL Scripts The Oracle rollup incrementals were updated to now determine if the Oracle version is Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition and, depending on the version, create either a BTree or Bitmap index for temporary indexes used during the upgrade. Update ImageNow Recognition Agent Resolved an issue where some pages would not successfully scan into the system when processed through Recognition Agent. Enhancement DDL Scripts The following roll-up incrementals were updated to include additional and improved pre-upgrade conditional database checks, and to improve handling of failed checks. SQL Server. 6.6 to Oracle. 6.6 to and 6.6 to _CTAS Note No schema changes (DDL/DML) were made to these scripts. Update Lexmark Secure Content Monitor Resolved an issue where content submission jobs would occasionally fail with error code 221 despite successful indexing. When used in conjunction with a Content Queue, this error would cause the items to be incorrectly sent to the Failure queue. (DE28258, TFS10236) Resolved an issue where an alternate label for a document key displayed incorrectly in the proposed key window during Capture if the label was longer than 15 characters. (DE29409, TFS10977) Resolved an issue that caused ImageNow to stop responding when rescanning a page in the Batch Viewer with no paper in the scanner. (DE37438, TFS12492) Page 9 of 60

12 Enhancements ImageNow Client ImageNow Client and Server: Added the ability for an administrator to specify how long Retention Agent waits between searches for modified items and the maximum number of modified items that can be routed out of the hold queue at one time. (US47987, US47988) ImageNow DDL Schema The incrementals were updated and schema changes were made for this patch. ImageNow Mail Agent You can now enable Mail Agent to support Transport Layer Security (TLS). (TFS12835, US57955) ImageNow Client and Server: Added the ability for an administrator to specify how long Retention Agent waits between searches for modified items and the maximum number of modified items that can be routed out of the hold queue at one time. (US47987, US47988) Added an inupgradeutil command setting that upgrades policy queues from 6.7 and earlier versions. (US47992, US47993) Workflow Agent: The INSTANCE_ID of a retention item now displays in the IN_WF_ITEM row, which improves retention query performance. (US57468, US57469) Added INI settings for Retention Agent that specify how often it waits between searches for modified items and how many modified items it can route out of the hold queue at one time. (US58007) ImageNow Client When a network connection resumes after being interrupted, ImageNow Client now completes a batch upload that was in progress. Previously, the client did not always finish uploading to the server any remaining pages in a batch if the network connection was interrupted. (DE6500, TFS8245) Resolved an issue that did not export documents into a nested folder hierarchy as defined in an output profile. Previously, if the output location defined in an output profile was defined as a folder hierarchy, the documents were exported to only one of the folders levels. (DE28208, TFS10422) ImageNow Mail Agent In the inservermail.ini file, the server.incoming.ignoresslcertificates setting name was changed to server.incoming.ignore.certificates. This setting specifies that Mail Agent ignore all invalid certificates. Previously, this setting specified that Mail Agent ignored SSL certificates. (TFS12835) Page 12 of 60

13 WebNow: Resolved an issue that caused private filters created by the user associated with a sub queue not to display once a user logged out then back in to WebNow. (DE34887, TFS11787) Resolved an issue that allowed the Workflow Agent to execute a queue action multiple times on a single workflow item.(de34890, TFS12115) Resolved an issue that caused the Workflow Puller thread to fall behind in processing items in queues, resulting in excessive memory use. (DE38113, TFS12493) Added the session.timeout setting to the integrationserver.ini file to specify the connection timeout in minutes. The default is 60. ImageNow Client When linking a document using LearnMode with a Window Walker application plan, ImageNow will remain open when it is unable to connect with a Java application. Previously, ImageNow sometimes stopped responding when it attempted to connect to a Java application. (DE35171, TFS11890) ImageNow Mail Agent Resolved an issue where Mail Agent was not recognized as an installed service after performing a minor upgrade. (DE16512, TFS8884) INTool: Resolved an issue that caused an error to occur when a user launched an iscript from INTool, and that script routed a document out of a queue that had an outbound action. (DE37263, TFS12388) Integration Server now successfully processes task and digital ID calls when the user name is not provided. Previously, these calls would require the user name to be passed via a header. (TFS11504) Included a basevalue attribute for Perceptive Interact Business Services. This is used during the initial reading of the form data on the ImageNow Client. (TFS12218) Resolved an issue when using permanent encryption that caused some users to not be able to log in. (TFS12448) WebNow Resolved an issue where a non-conforming request could cause WebNow client to not load. (US51797) ImageNow Fax Agent, ImageNow Message Agent, and ImageNow Output Agent Output Agent now continues processing other documents if it encounters a failure on page 2 or later of a document with multiple pages. Previously, Output Agent might not continue processing other documents, causing it to become unresponsive. (TFS12166) Resolved an issue that would cause forms to not load properly when using SSO with Perceptive Integration Server. (TFS12442) WebNow eforms: Resolved an issue where after an upgrade, if a user attempted to save a form in a document in WebNow, the system failed to acknowledge the user's confirmation to save the form. Enhancements ImageNow Business Insight The ImageNow System Setup Report now includes a prompt allowing the user to select the sections to include in the report. The ImageNow Security - Group Member List and ImageNow Security - User List with Group Assignments reports are now redundant, so those two reports have been removed from the report library. (US49168, US49251) ImageNow Client Enhanced installers to allow non-administrator users to run them and successfully complete COM registration. (US45551) Batch Agent now waits to add documents to an ImageNow workflow queue until after the entire batch has been processed. Previously, Batch Agent added some pages to ImageNow before all pages had been processed in a multi-page document, causing a partial document to enter workflow. (US48316) ImageNow Client and WebNow In Workflow Viewer, the Forms pane now opens automatically when there are forms associated with the queue where the item is located. If there are no forms, the Forms pane will close automatically. (US45791) Updated the help files distributed with the DataDirect merge modules. (US40687) Page 16 of 60

17 Added the ability for an administrator to set Workflow Agent to process a certain number of retention queue events, during select hours of the day, and at specified intervals. (US47981) Added the ability for an administrator to set Retention Agent to run jobs during select hours of the day and at specified intervals. (US48120) ImageNow Business Insight Resolved an issue where running a canned report in the Excel file format resulted in a corrupt file. The Run Report button is no longer a drop-down list. In ImageNow and WebNow, all reports run automatically in HTML format and open in a separate browser window. After the report renders, users can display or save the report in any file format supported by Cognos. Business Insight now saves previous prompt selections. Following this update, only saved output versions display embedded in ImageNow and WebNow. Hyperlinks created using ImageNow Connector are only active in scheduled or saved output versions. When you view a saved output version in the Excel format, a link to the report displays in the explorer window. (TFS9632) ImageNow Client Preferences for adding a folder to a workflow queue are now remembered and used when you create a shortcut or create a location while linking a document. Previously, the workflow queue had to be reselected for each folder added to it. (TFS10628) Resolved an issue where ImageNow Client may become unresponsive when the Forms pane is undocked or moved to a different location within the ImageNow Viewer. (TFS11879) Fixed an issue that prevented document thumbnails from being displayed properly until the user closed the page and reopened it when using a Centera OSM. (TFS8367) WebNow Resolved an issue where task views reverted to local default columns and column ordering after saving changes in WebNow Viewer. Enhancements ImageNow Client You now have the ability to use a TWAIN scanner to rescan a page in an ImageNow Viewer before you save it as a document in ImageNow. You can also use a TWAIN scanner to scan a page and add it to an existing document. (US41944) You can now use the setcreationuser method to alter the Creation User field on documents and folders that were created by a system user, such as Workflow Agent. For more information, refer to the INDocument and INFolder topics in the Document Imaging Objects section of iscript help. (US41726) ImageNow Client Resolved an issue sporadically rendering the system unresponsive when opening and closing content from a folder viewer where the results are grouped by at least one column. (TFS5647, TFS10049) Resolved an issue that occurred in workflow queues set to prohibit modifications to composite properties. When attempting to save changes to a document containing a form and multiple composite properties, some composite properties remained modifiable. (TFS10025) ImageNow Mail Agent Resolved an issue where RFC822 messages missing the Content-Transfer-Encoding header did not process. (TFS11752) Fixed an issue that caused ImageNow Envoy to ignore an element when it had previously encountered an element of the same type while processing the WSDL file. (TFS11643) Resolved an issue that could result in high database CPU usage when performing an OSM transfer. (US45797) Page 18 of 60
