ImageNow Client Enhanced the document export process by updating the way the system handles temporary directories when a user opens and exports multiple documents. Previously, an exported document might incorrectly contain a page from another document opened in the viewer. (TFS 10277) ImageNow Fax Agent Fax Agent now ignores barcodes that contain non-printable characters. Fax Agent sometimes mistakenly read barcodes and assigned non-printable characters to a field. ImageNow Client Additional pages are now captured when scanned with a TWAIN scanner. Previously, when additional pages were added to an empty feeder, ImageNow sometimes did not capture the pages. (TFS 4584) ImageNow Mail Agent Mail Agent now processes large attachments, and continues to process in an inbox after encountering a large attachment. Previously, when it reached an attachment over 20 megabytes, Mail Agent sometimes had to be restarted in order to continue processing. (TFS 10521) No functional changes. Enhancements ImageNow DDL Script Package The incrementals were updated for this patch. There is now an INTool command, intool --cmd license-sysfp, that generates a system fingerprint file for obtaining licenses when updating ImageNow products from versions 6.5 or 6.6 to a version that is 6.7 or higher. For more information about using the system fingerprint file to obtain updated licenses, refer to the and Client Update Readme for 6.7 or higher. (US28343) ImageNow Forms Server ImageNow Forms Server and WebNow: Updated Trusted Application Certificate to extend certificate expiration. (TFS 4322) ImageNow Mail Agent Mail Agent now decodes the headers for s to allow processing of s with non-ascii characters. Previously, POP3 and IMAP did not decode headers that contained non-ascii characters. (TFS 9394) ImageNow Message Agent ImageNow now enforces the DOCUMENT OPEN privilege when a user makes DOCUMENT_RETURN and DOCUMENT_RETURN_SWA web service calls with Message Agent. (TFS 8958) ImageNow: Users can now create thumbnails of single pixel image files. Previously, this action might cause to stop responding. This patch applies to Windows platforms only. (TFS 5719) Resolved an issue where thumbnails of certain 32 BPP images could not be saved, causing to stop responding. (TFS 9004) Documents in a retention policy are now routed correctly based on modified or viewed dates. Previously, the document would sometimes route to the approval queue even though the document had not been viewed or modified by a user. ImageNow Client Workflow Viewer now automatically saves changes made to a current item when the user chooses to view an incoming item in the viewer. Previously, the system might discard unsaved changes and present a logical object error. (TFS 8875) ImageNow Interact for Epic When using Epic 2012, ImageNow Viewer now correctly launches from Interact for Epic Viewer. Previously, when the launch.imagenow.client.close.viewer setting in the INEpicViewer.ini file was set to TRUE, launching ImageNow Client could cause Epic 2012 to stop responding. (TFS 7687) Interact Desktop now correctly launches from document links within Epic Previously, when the Pretrieve setting was enabled, Epic encountered errors when launching a document link viewed in Interact Desktop. (TFS 9170) Resolved an issue where instances of Interact for Epic Viewer launched from Epic 2012 displayed varying thumbnail panel heights. To create a consistent thumbnail panel default, a new setting default.thumbnails.panel.height was added to the INEpicViewer.ini file. (TFS 9171) For Epic 2012 and higher: The Interact for Epic ROI installer now correctly installs the INEpicPainter.NET4.ini file. This build also resolves an issue where Interact for Epic ROI did not render images properly due to a third-party licensing issue. (DE7445) Retention: Resolved an issue that caused the system to stop processing jobs for a retention policy when a user changed the document type of a document. (TFS 9000) Modified an environment variable used by Solaris servers for a server call. Previously, the call could sometimes cause memory growth and a process to stop responding because additional memory could not be allocated for the process. (TFS 9122) The number.messages.to.purge INI setting was added to the External Message Agent to allow the ability to reduce the number of completed messages in the backlog and improve the processing speed of queries. You can set the number.messages.to.purge to purge a minimum of 0 messages to a maximum of 500 messages. The default is 500. Managing the number of purges gives the user more control over processing, reduces the number of messages in the backlog, and improves the processing speed of outstanding queries. (TFS 7641) ImageNow Message Agent Message Agent now allows only one render of a PDF at a time. Previously, simultaneous PDF renderings could sometimes require Message Agent to be restarted. (TFS 8970) iscript: Access to intra-process iscript context shared memory now correctly retains all changes made by competing processes. Therefore, even if many processes are running at the same time, implemented changes will all take effect in the proper order. Also, the INGroup iscript search interface now correctly handles searches for groups that do not exist. Previously, iscript searches would sometimes end if encountering a missing group rather than completing the search. Note that with these enhancements Microsoft Windows XP SP2 operating systems are no longer supported. Microsoft Windows XP SP3 is now the minimum supported version. Because this affects communications between ImageNow Server and other products, you need to update and any agents and interact products listed above that are used in your system to take advantage of this enhancement. To update existing client machines that access WebNow to Java 7, you can deploy Java 7 through your enterprise software deployment suite or install this JRE manually on each client machine. (US19587) Forms Server Resolved an issue regarding Java 7 where forms from the WebNow Viewer would not print in Internet Explorer and Firefox. (TFS 8322) ImageNow Client Users can now output a document from either the thumbnail toolbar or File menu, close the document, and ImageNow will save the annotations without prompting, except when outputting to fax. Previously, annotations might not save when outputting a document from the thumbnail toolbar, selecting Include Annotations, and closing the document. (TFS 3875) Resolved an issue with the installer that prevented some configuration settings in the imagenow.ini file from being maintained on upgrading. (TFS 8647) Resolved an issue with sending messages to connected users in Administrator. (US18519 / TFS 1603) /INTool: Resolved an issue that caused a Windows error to occur when executing the logoff command in INTool. (TFS 3971) Resolved an issue with potential restriction of INEMUSER database permissions after upgrading and improved the privileges and synonyms associated with the INEMUSER user and the inuser.in_extern_msg tables. (TFS 8403) Message Agent Message Agent: Users can now enter a wildcard character, such as an asterisk (*), in the FULL_TEXT_KEYWORD field in the DOCUMENT_SEARCH_QUERY call and return the same results as ImageNow Client. (TFS 8089) WebNow Resolved an issue in WebNow where images might print as blank pages in Java 7. (US19591 / TFS 6492) Resolved an issue that occurred when using Java 7 to export a BMP file with annotations, sometimes causing an error to appear. (US19591 / TFS 6621) When marking a workflow item as On Hold, the date you select now displays properly in the Hold Item dialog. Previously, the selected date would not display immediately but would take effect on the item. (US19588 / TFS 7242) Printing Forms: Resolved an issue regarding Java 7 where forms from the WebNow Viewer would not print in Internet Explorer and Firefox. Previously, when a user appended a page and it was the first modification to the document, the field might not reflect the date of the change. Previously, ImageNow Viewer might incorrectly display color pages in black and white when the first page of the imported file was in black and white and the succeeding pages were in color. (TFS 4131) Corrected an issue that could cause an incorrect error to be displayed during login when using SQL authentication. (US15348) There is now a Delinquency Age column available in the Modify Chart Deficiencies by Physician report. The ability to group the charts by Delinquency Age increments was also added to the report. (US15351) Schema The incrementals were updated and schema changes made for this patch. Changes include an addition of an INSERT statement (DML) to the end of the incrementals for creating new System Drawers, Classes, and Instances for Batch and Retention. ImageNow Client Modal text boxes were removed to ensure that Citrix sessions remain open when executing INCOM. Any application using INCOM can now handle the INCOM exception. Previously the modal text box Page 17 of 56

18 appeared behind the application and was hidden from view, which made it appear that the INCOM executable failed. (TFS 7167) Viewer: Resolved an issue where Project Viewers were sometimes not found when using an API call, such as INGetTopProjectViewerInstance, when opened in workflow, unless it was opened outside of workflow or in a preview mode. Now when Project Viewer instances are opened, they successfully open in workflow. (TFS 7431) External Message Agent: When handling external messages using the INEMUSER database user, new database tables were created to address group processing of messages in first-in-first-out (FIFO) order for HL7 requirement. The new tables are IN_EXTERN_MSG_GROUP and IN_EXTERN_MSG_SEQ. The extern_msg_id from the IN_EXTERN_MSG table is inserted in the two new tables. (TFS 4106) Retention: Resolved an issue for documents assigned to a retention policy containing a disposition action of 75 years where the system was preemptively moving these documents through the phase of this retention policy.
