1 Installation Instructions DESKTOP AND MAC Installation 1. Select the appropriate install file from the following: 2. Depending on your settings, you may be asked to save the file to your desktop. Click SAVE FILE and run from that location. Windows PC: MAC: 3. Click RUN
2 4. Click NEXT 5. Carefully read the agreement and when ready, Click I AGREE (twice)
3 6. Click desirable options and click NEXT 7. Leave Install location as it is and click NEXT NOTE: If you have an existing version of Anywhere Connect on your system it will ask if you want to uninstall before installing. Click YES. NOTE: You should not see this the first time you install the application.
4 8. Leave the Start Menu Folder, and click B 9. Wait for install
5 10. When finish click NEXT 11. Click FINISH
6 Log In 1. Once the application then launches a. Enter your 10 digit telephone number b. Enter you software access passcode 2. You are now able to use the application for Instant Message and Presence, as well as Voice and Video calls Outlook Contact Search If you would like your Outlook Personal Contacts to be Searchable follow these steps 1. Click the PREFERENCES widget 2. Then click on dropdown next to GENERAL Then select EXTENSIONS 3. Click slider next to ENABLE OUTLOOK CONTACT SEARCH
7 Location Select the appropriate option regarding publishing your location
8 Desktop Share If you are an Anywhere Connect Enhanced or Premium user, you must also add your Desktop Share Credentials to allow you to share your desktop with other Anywhere Connect users. These credentials should be provided by your Hosted Voice Implementation team. 1. Login to Anywhere Connect 2. Click the PREFERENCES widget 3. Then click on dropdown next to GENERAL, Then select ADVANCED 4. Scroll down to CREDENTIALS 5. Under Web Collaboration a. Enter your User Name i. Should be your 10 digit telephone b. Enter your password ii. Provided by your Hosted Voice Services Implementation team.
9 ANDROID Spectrum Enterprise now has a branded version of Anywhere Connect available. Go to Google Play and search for Anywhere Connect Login User Name: 10 Digit Telephone number Password: Web access passcodes Additional Options Show Password: Otherwise the passcode is XX out Remember Password: System will remember your password the next time you sign in Sign in Automatically: Client will automatically login when selecting the ICON from the phone.

11 OTHER MOBILE DEVICES NOTE: Anywhere Connect is not currently supported on Android Tablet or IPad. Stay tuned for a future release. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS This is sold as an Add-On to Enterprise Hosted Voice. Please see your Account Representative for additional requirements. Collaboration Servers The following ports should be allowed on the Network. Messaging Server Ports Protocol 443 HTTPS (Provisioning) 1081 SOCKS-5 (File Exchange) 5222 XMPP over TLS (IM&P) 5269 XMPP over TLS (Federation) 5277 Proprietary (Used between UMS nodes) 5280 BOSH (IM&P) Sharing Server Ports Protocol 8443 HTTPS
12 Desktop Current supported version is OS Windows MAC Version 7 OS 10.9 Maverick 8/8.1 (Classic View Only) OS Yosemite 10 (Classic View Only) OS El Capitan Outlook Requirements Version 2007, bit/64-bit Minimum Requirements 125 MB disk space on OS-X and 215 MB on Windows Voice - sound card, speakers, and a microphone or a headset. Video - web cam is required. 2GB RAM 1.5GHz (minimum) For Video - Dual core CPU (minimum) OpenGL 1.5 or higher is recommended. For HD video, the following is recommended: o HD camera o HD resolution support in display o Quad Core x85 or equivalent Mobile Current supported version is OS Android IOS Version 4.0 or later 8, 9, or 10 For best user Dual core CPU (or higher) experience and 1 GB RAM (or higher) specifically for video ARMv7 instruction set supported by the CPU (for media capabilities) calling, the following is recommended: Minimal screen resolution 320 x 480 Validated Devices The client has been validated on the following reference devices Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) OS HTC One M8 OS Motorola Moto G(XT1032 OS 5 Nexus 5X (LD) OS 6 Galaxy S7 (G930F) OS 6 HTC 10 OS 6 IPhone 5S IPhone 6 IPhone 6 Plus IPhone 6S IPhone 6S Plus NOTE: The lists of validated devices are subject to change without notice in subsequent releases
13 Does not include all devices, only those that have been validated by Broadsoft running on the ARMv7 chipset. IPods have not been validated, although they match the specifications and should work with the exception of the telephony function. Although Anywhere Connect may appear to function on lower performance Android device that do not conform to the system requirement, such devices may experience issues with video calling or experience other functional limitations. IPads and tablets are not supported.
