1 USER MANUAL FOR DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM Introduction This is 8/16 Channel Data Acquisition software, which will gives following functionalities 1) Live data display & Storage 2) Store data from data logger to computer 3) Save file as job Name 4) Reports 5) History reports 6) Multi-user support 7) Data compression and restore with password support 8) Sending automatic mail while downloading 9) Auto 10) Excel Output* 11) Live Graph* 12) Auto SMS * How to install this software 1) Put cd in the cd rom this automatically start copying files other wise run setup.exe file 2) If any file over write error occur, over write the file 3) If any area violation error occur, press ignore 4) Do not change the path while installing software

2 5) Once installation is over How to start the Program software can be access from start -> program menu -> DAS (This name may change) Set The System Date Format In setting->control Pannel->Regional Setting Date -> dd/mm/yyyy LOGIN & PASSWORD First screen of the software is Login & password

3 If your user name and password is correct this goes in to main menu After Main menu,click on Online/offline menu

4 ONLINE OFFLINE MENU Top part of screen indicate live value from data logger along with sensor no, location name, status (high, low, normal) Other buttons are DOWN LOAD DATA Down load:- Click on this will download all values from logger to data base, if logger not responding it ask you for retry option

5 Print Frame :- first option is print stored value on the printer and view on the screen Alarm:- To Check the alarm status of previous stored values and write comment on that Graph:- To print Graph of stored value List view: To view stored value of data logger Date Start & Date End :- Range date for printing,list view, alarm.you are supposed to set the start date end date for taking print out and other operations Main Menu :- Go back to main menu for setting operation (with out going back to main you can t do modification) Live Value:- If you select live value,this will store value to database in an interval which you set in the setting.to display same on the screen activate display grid

6 ALARM SETTING Load alarm will load values from data logger to software or you can enter values as you wish (load alarm Change logger to logger) Any modification on Channel (tagname,sensor no,location ) Click on channel no: this will show previous values stored on the database,now you can modify the values and click on modify to store the permanently Print(on/off) :- You Can restrict channel value in printout Eng Unit :- This Unit which comes in the printing as a head of Channel

7 PRINT HEAD SETTING Header-1: at the top Header-2,Header-3 : - Both comes in the second line There are 2 Heading line on the report which user can change

8 UNIT SETTING Unit Can be set With this menu Which will come in report & live display

9 PORT SETTINGS (Do not Change the setting without hardware knowledge)

10 This very important for Your Mail, provide you 2 mail address, through which your mail will go.(in Off line, will Store in Ms outlook,) Locked options are linked to the Data Logger hardware so do not disturb those setting (This can only modify by the manufacturer) Other are port selection (com1 or com2.) depending on which port you are connected the logger. Speed depending on the communication speed of logger and computer this is also set by the manufacturer

11 Auto download:-setting time for auto downloading values provided system should on On/offline :- Setting Your DAS work on line or off line,if it is in on line program will store value to database every after specified time (min). In offline Download is require to transfer value from logger to das. USER SETTING New logger Can be created of old user can be deleted from this menu using new user, delete user,

12 GRAPH DISPLAY Graph will display graph of data which you have selected in main menu. Here we give more facility to change data start point and end point so that user can see graph more clear with small range with in the main selection (Start Date.End Date) Graph Type:- Same data can be plotted in different style (2D line,3 D Bar, 3D Area etc..) Buttons(1,2.8) : -Click on these button to get the corresponding channels graph Button 8 will display all channels in a single graph Y-MAX /MIN : -To see more clear graph, y axis limited to certain value so that graph will show in that range. To remove the y setting press on refresh button

13 Graph will look like this here you can select different channel or 8 channel Date selection,type. Print button will print on the printer

16 Click on the printer(icon) to print on the printer This will create a file call wprint at your hard disk same directory where your software is installed, this file can be open with excel software (delimited with space) So you will have added advantage to get out put in excel.

17 This software and manual is maid for different application along with different hard ware so that the software which you are using may not be look same as above,but functions are same *marked means options are not with this software Following are some latest front menus
