2 Functions and Features ITEM DESCRIPTION SPEED The computer shows the current speed in the display ( ). RPM Displays the rounds per minute (0 999). TIME Computer shows actual exercise time (0:00 99:59). DISTANCE The workout distance is displayed here ( ). CALORIES The currently burned calories are displayed here (0 999). WATT Computer shows the actual watt value (0 350). PULSE MANUAL PROGRAM H.R.C. WATTS USER UP DOWN MODE RESET Start/Stop RECOVERY BODY FAT The computer is showing the user s heart rate in beats per minute. For a correct display please ensure that you fully grasp the hand sensors. It may last up to 2 minutes before the pulse frequency will be measured correctly. A target value for pulse may be set before a workout. Manual mode. 12 preset programs are available. Automatically steered training depending on your pulse frequency. Watt-controlled training mode. In this mode you can exercise according to your own programmed profile. Increase the resistance during exercise / Adjust values Decrease the resistance during exercise / Adjust values Confirm setting or selection. Press & hold this button for approx. 2 seconds to reset all values to 0. Press this button in a training pause to return to the initial display. Start or stop a workout. Press this button to start the heart recovery measurement. Press this button to start the body fat measurement. 2

3 Computer operation Plug in power supply. Computer will power on and full display will be shown for approx. 2 seconds (figure 1). Afterwards, the wheel diameter will be shown (figure 2) for 1 second. In the next step you can enter user data by selection a user from U1 to U4 with the joggle wheel and confirm with MODE. Set sex, age, height and weight (figure 3). After setting all user data, computer will switch to main menu (figure 4). DE This computer has an automatic on/off function so that it switches on when the pedals move or when any button is pressed, and turns into stand-by mode automatically if no signal has been received for approx. 4 minutes. 4 Manual Mode In manual mode you can adjust the load manually. After selecting M (confirm with MODE -button) you can select the initial tension level (use UP, DOWN and MODE to select, figure 9). Press START/STOP. You may change the tension level at any time during exercise with UP and DOWN. You may also input target values for the following function values: a. TIME (figure 10) b. DISTANCE (figure 11) c. CALORIE (figure 12) d. PULSE (figure 13) To input a target value, do not press Start/Stop after selecting the initial tension level, but instead use UP, DOWN and MODE to input the target values. After your input, press START/STOP to start the workout. To pause your workout, press the START/STOP -button again. Press RESET to return to main menu. 5 Program Mode Within this mode you can exercise with a program profile (preset). Mountain- and valley courses: After selecting program mode and MODE -button for confirmation, P1 starts blinking. Choose one of the 12 programs (P1 to P12, figure 15). Select the initial tension level (use UP, DOWN and MODE to select, figure 16). You may now preset a target value for TIME by using UP, DOWN and MODE. Press START/STOP to start workout. You may change the tension level at any time during exercise with UP and DOWN. To pause your workout, press the START/STOP -button again. Press RESET to return to main menu. DE H.R.C mode Figure 15 Figure 16 After selecting a respective mode (press MODE to confirm) you are in the heart frequency controlled mode. You can run an automatically steered training depending on your pulse frequency. Press UP or DOWN to select one of the following alternatives: (figure 17) = 55% Max H.R.C. - - Target H.R. = (220 AGE) x 55% (figure 18) = 75% Max H.R.C. - - Target H.R. = (220 AGE) x 75% (figure 19) = 90% Max H.R.C. - - Target H.R. = (220 AGE) x 90% (figure 20) = TAG = Target H.R.C. - - Workout by your target heart rate value. In TAG mode, use UP/DOWN -buttons for direct input of the target pulse value (between 30 and 230 bpm). You may now preset a target value for TIME by using UP, DOWN and MODE (figure 21). 6 Watt mode This is a speed-independent exercise mode. With this mode you can exercise according to the preset Watt value. After selecting W, press MODE to enter this mode. The default value for the WATT preset value is 120 (figure 22), which you may change with UP / DOWN and MODE. You may now preset a target value for TIME by using UP, DOWN and MODE (figure 23). Press START/STOP to start workout. The computer will automatically control the resistance. You may change the watt level at any time during exercise with UP and DOWN. To pause your workout, press the START/ STOP -button again. Press RESET to return to main menu. User program mode Figure 22 Figure 23 After selecting this mode ( U and MODE for confirmation), use the UP and DOWN buttons to create your own user profile (figure 24). You can preset a different resistance level for totally 8 columns. Press MODE to continue or hold MODE button for at least 2 seconds to quit the setting process. You may now preset a target value for TIME by using UP, DOWN and MODE (figure 25). Press START/STOP to start workout. You may change the tension level at any time during exercise with UP and DOWN. 7 Recovery With this special function, you can check your hearts recovery rate after a training session. This is a very important indication for the physical condition of your body. Try to improve your recovery rate with regular training sessions. The aim is, to calm down to a normal pulse frequency (frequency, when you are not in motion) as quickly as possible. To check your recovery rate, you need to keep your hands onto the hand pulse-sensors after your exercise. Now press the button RECOVERY. The computer will start to countdown 60 seconds (figure 26). During this period the computer will constantly measure your heart rate through the hand sensors. After this minute, your recovery rate will be displayed on the display. The range is F1.0 to F6.0 (figure 27), whereby F1.0 is very good and F6.0 is insufficient. Improve your value by intense and regular training! DE After the recovery function is finished, press RECOVERY again to return to normal operation mode. Figure 26 Figure 27 7

8 Body fat Press this button to start the body fat measurement. Ux (figure 28) will be displayed. Hold both hands on the handsensors during measurement. Upon pulse is detected the display shows the symbols according to figure 29 to 31. It will last about 8 seconds until the measurement is finished. 9 Error messages means, that the contact to the handpulse sensors was not sufficiently for a measurement. The reason for this can be that you have not grasped the two sensors correctly. Start a new measurement with correctly placed hands! DE E-1 means, that no heart rate signal has been detected. E-4 appears, if the fat % or BMI values are too low (<5) or too high (> 50). USB power charger The computer can be used to charge your tablet or other mobile devices via the built-in USB port. Bluetooth Verbindung The computer can be connected via Bluetooth to communicate with iconsole+ or FitHiWay apps. Please refer to the app instructions accordingly. Remarks: 1. The monitor will enter SLEEP mode when there is no signal and no key pressed for 4 minutes. 2. If the USB power charging function or Bluetooth is used, there is a higher power consumption. We recommend to use an adaptor 9V 1.3A in this case. 3. In case of any abnormal functions, disconnect the device from power source and reconnect after some minutes. 4. In H.R.C or RECOVERY modes the user needs to hold on to the handsensors constantly (or wear a compatible chestbelt) for proper pulse detection. 5. If the computer is connect via Bluetooth it will power off itself. If you want to turn it on again you need to disconnect the Bluetooth connection first. 9

11 iconsole+ app - User manual Android Tablet Bluetooth Pairing instructions DE 1. Download iconsole+ in Google play store System requirements: 1280 x 800, Android 4.3 or above. Download iconsole+ in Baidu. Note: The app store always provides the most actual version. 2. After finishing download, open the app and click the lower middle icon to connect. 3. Select BLUETOOTH to connect. 4. Tap on SCAN FOR DEVICES 5. Select the device and enter default code: Pairing successful. 11

16 ios Bluetooth Pairing instructions BT3.0 connection method 1. Download iconsole+ in Apple app store System requirements: ios 8 or above. 2. After finishing download, turn on Bluetooth of mobile device and search for the fitness device. 3. Select the device and enter default code: Start the app. BT4.0 connection method 1. Turn on Bluetooth of mobile device and start the app. 2. Tap on icon to connect. 16

17 3. Tap on BLUETOOTH icon. DE 4. Select the device to connect. 5. Connection successfully established. ios Tunelinc Connection instructions 1. Tap on icon to connect. 2. Tap on Tunelinc icon. 3. Plug-in audio cable and adjust volume between 70% to 90%. 17

18 4. Tap on CONNECT. 5. Start the app. 6. Do not adjust volume while connected to avoid going offline. Notes/Warnings: 1. Without receiving any feedback signal, the app will try to establish connection for 15 seconds. After that period, user needs to reset. 2. Audio cable for proper TUNELINC connection needs to be 4-pin and not more than 50 cm of length. 3. Only use original audio cable recommended by the manufacturer. 4. Avoid twisting the audio cable at any time. 5. During the use of TUNELINC do not use the charging function. 6. Do not use in a humid environment. 7. If device displays a volume warning message, confirm for continued operation. 8. If Bluetooth and TUNELINC are connected at the same time, Bluetooth will be preferred. Some devices may not be supported. 18

68 Race mode Name the room and choose a route. Click on the right or left buttons to select waypoints. Click CREATE to confirm. Note: Users in China only can select the China map for a competition. Race mode Check the player list. Players, which are ready to start, change their name color from blue to gold. Click Preparing. PS: f you are the room-leader, wait for the other players to get gold state. Then start the competition. The competition needs to be started within 5 minutes, otherwise the player will be dismissed. There are maximum 10 rooms available. Race mode Click Information to switch the screen. Player ranking. 68
