Introduction This is the software to import and export the address and authentication data (Account Track and User) list to the MFP. 2. Install/uninstall guide - Please refer the user manual. - After upgrading to a newer version, you can select [File] > [Device List] > [Import from previous version] to import the Device List of the previous version. 8

9 - If Device Set-up is reinstalled in a different location after being uninstalled, the plug-in applications will not be available. If you change the installation location of Device Set-up, you must reinstall all plug-in applications. - When installing PageScope Data Administrator V4 by overwriting PageScope Data Administrator V3, you must not install in the same location as V3. 5. Version confirmation procedure in the application. When "Version Information" is selected from the "Help" menu, an information dialog box appears. 6. Limited functions / known limitations 6-1 General - The products described in "2. System requirements", "3. Supported devices", and "6. Limited functions / known limitations" may not be available or the product names may differ in some countries and regions. - Please set your windows screen resolution configuration higher than 800 x 600 pixels,and set your windows screen color configuration higher than 16 bit color. - This application can be installed or uninstalled only by the user who login to the PC with the administrator right. - Do not use this software for unsupported devices. - This software use "bizhub OpenAPI" interface for communication with a device. Then the Access Setting of "Open API" in device panel's administrator settings must be set to "Allow". 9

10 - It may take some time to launch the application. In such a case, please perform the following steps. 1) Launch Internet Explorer 2) Open Internet Option under tools menu. 3) Open Advanced tab and turn off the following setting. "Check for server certificate revocation" 6-2. Import from MFP function - When you use [Import(MFP)] function, please set your proxy setting of Internet Explorer to be off. 6-3 LDAP - In the configuration to access to LDAP server, if you use IP Address as "ServerName", please input windows login name (Pre- Windows 2000) as "UserName" and windows login password (Pre- Windows 2000) as "Password". - In the configuration to access to LDAP server, when you use SSL, you need to input DNS name as "ServerName". It's also required for the server's certification's CN (Common Name) value to use DNS name. - When you use LDAP search with SSL, please do not select NTLM of LDAP authentication type. 6-4 Suplemental Note for exporting User data to bizhub C450/351(Fiery) - address of User (For User Authentication) is not exported bizhub C450/351(Fiery). 6-5 Box Option - Box Option setting is not available for the following devices. bizhub C210 bizhub C200 10

If not, this software can not export data to the device. - For an item that has a password set in the Administrator Settings, the password information is not imported from the device for security reasons. Note that the Password is set in the device even if the Password field is blank in the screen of the application. 6-9 Other release notes - Acrobat Reader must be installed when reading the User Manual. - The log is saved in the following location: C: Documents and Settings [Login User Name] Local Settings Application Data KONICA MINOLTA PSDA Data Log (Windows Vista/ Windows 7 - C: Users [Login User Name] AppData Local KONICA MINOLTA PSDA Data Log) Please delete this logs if needed. - When you change the device's authentication mode,change the device's counter area or delete users, all the user box passwords must be observed the password rule of the device. If there is a box password that is not observed the password rule, an error will occur when you use these functions on this software. - A caution is needed when the authentication setting of the device is "Syncronize user authentication and account track". In this case, please delete accounts less than 30 accounts at one time. When you delete accounts more than 30 accounts, please delete per 30 accounts repeatedly. 13

14 - This software can not start the previous version of HDD Backup Utility. Please re-install the newer version of HDD Backup Utility. - At the time of registration of the address of bizhub 350/250/200, an address may not be displayed on [Position information on an operation panel] on a [Index] tree. In that case, please check the address in [One-touch] tree. - When you set the same port number in the network settings, the error may occur in the exporting process. In the case, please re-assign the port number. - When you change the program address destination type to the "None", the address data may not be changed to the "None". (If the device FW is old version, this may occur.) - Even when "Stopped processing because the device settings has been changed." is displayed at the time of the writing to the device, the settings except the authentication settings may be exported to the device. - When the device FW is upgraded, this software may be unable to connect with the device. In that case, first, please delete the device in the device registration window, and connect after adding the device in the device registration list newly. - When SSL certification is registered in the device, use PageScope Web Connection to set the "administrator name" and the "administrator extension No.". (If you use this program to set this information, an error may result.) - When using on Windows Vista, the device search setting may be blank instead of showing the initial value acquired from the PC's IP address. In this case, please manually enter the address for the device search range setting. - When using the [Copy authentication and address data collectively] function in the [Settings for multiple device] menu, if the SSL setting of the device is enabled, the SSL certification information may not be displayed. To check the SSL certification information, use the [Authentication Settings/ Address settings]/[administrator settings] button in the device list window to connect to the device. 14

15 - When the SSL Encryption Strength of the device is set to "AES-256", Windows 2000 and WindowsXP cannot connect to the device. When using one of these operating systems, change the encryption strength setting of the device to other than "AES-256". - When SSL certificate of a device is created in DSA type, connection to the device may not be performed successfully. In such case, create a certificate in RSA type. - [Test Connection] function ([Administrator settings] > [Network settings] > [LDAP Server settings]) does not work correctly in the IPv6 network. - When "User Account Control: Only elevate executables that are signed and validated" is enabled at Local Security Policy of Windows Vista, it is not possible to uninstall program by using "Programs and Features" of Control Panel. To uninstall program, disable "User Account Control: Only elevate executables that are signed and validated" at Local Security Policy of Windows Vista, or use "setup.exe" which is used at installation of program. - Please, see the Help file for restrictions for each device. Click on the link for Help in the lower left corner of the window after connecting to the device. - In some devices, even if a user executes "Refresh" after selecting "Previous data" and importing the device information, the latest device information cannot be obtained. In such case, without selecting "Previous data", select "Import from the device" to import the device information. - In the case of bizhub C35, when the edited User or Account data is written to devices by using the batch maintenance function, the output permission setting of the edited User or Account will change from "Economy Print Mode Only" into "Permit". 15

16 - In the case of FeliCa (Proprietary Card), this application cannot read data from the Card Reader until the OpenAPI Setting of a device is set to "SSL only". 7. Change Record Ver Added a function for import/export of IC card data of "Registration Tool For User Authentication". Ver Changed into an application that is used together with Device Set-Up (platform application). Ver Add an access restriction release function for importing access restriction files. (The device list can be imported using the access restriction file function.). Ver Changes the "Full color" counter value that previously appeared in the color counter column of the user/account list to the "Full color + Two-color + Single-color"counter value (bizhub C353/C253/C203 only). - Add a startup function for "Log Management Utility". Ver Add a maintenance function (simultaneously edit/add/delete the addresses and user data of multiple devices). - Add a function for importing files that were exported using a legacy device's web page. - Add a function for registering IC card data. - Improve the time required to export data to multiple devices when using the [Copy] function of the [Processing] menu. 16

17 Ver Repaired the following trouble: To the new firmware device, this software may not be able to open the file that is saved with the "Save all data to the file" function from the old firmware device. Ver Repaired the issue that this software does not start normally, depending on user environment. - Add a function for registering biometric authentication data. Ver Repaired the issue that the user who is registered by this software with CSV import function can not use copy function on MFP. - Repaired the issue that this software can not connect to the device when the proxy setting of Internet Explorer is ON, depending on user environment.
