1 WINDOWS/OWA ASSIGNMENT Page 1 of 6 FALL 2011 "In-Class" Assignment-"WINDOWS 7/OWA" Deadline: To be completed by Week 4, (Sept ), by midnight, the night before your scheduled class. IMPORTANT NOTES: MAKE SURE YOU SAVE THE FILE TO YOUR "SKYDRIVE accounts at the END of the assignment or YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE ASSIGNMENT FILE AT A LATER DATE, IF YOU ONLY SAVE IT TO THE DESKTOP OR THE DEFAULT LOCATION (C:\MY DOCUMENTS). 1. You must be in ATTENDANCE in the class where I assign the assignments. Otherwise you will get a penalty of 30% deducted from your assignment mark. a. In addition, the assignments are due at Midnight, the night before your scheduled class. i. If you submit an assignment late you will lose 20% of the mark per day after the due date. 2. This, like all homework, is an individual assignment. The College values honesty as a key principle in the College environment and in the workplace. Academic work submitted by a student is evaluated on the assumption that the work presented by the student is his or her own, unless designated otherwise. The College considers Plagiarism, (presenting someone else's work, in whole or in part, as your own), and the facilitation of plagiarism, (one student sharing work with other students), to be unacceptable and will impose sanctions, which may be: a requirement that the student complete a course on "Academic Integrity", a requirement that the student submit additional work, a grade of "0" for the assignment, a grade of "F" for the course or suspension from the College. A record will also be kept in the student's file. For full details, see Algonquin College Directive: E43 - Plagiarism. PART 1 WINDOWS 7 1. In MS Word create a file.
