22 New features Newly enhanced features of DPM version 6.0 from DPM version 5.1/5.2 is following. Managed machines can be migrated between groups. Scenario can be managed with hierarchization. Details More than one new machine can be registered to single group at one time from new machine list. Setting value of display number at list can be changed. One backup/restore scenario can be used to more than one managed machines. Backup image/package image/os image/hw image can be managed as image. Deploy-OS used in backup/restore/disk configuration check function can be set up from Web console. Login user management to management server is realized. Login user can be added user authority. Backup/restore of hard disk with 1TB or over size can be done. Automatic full sector backup of the file systems that so far did not support backup/restore can be enabled without setting of full sector option. Regarding Windows Vista/Windows7/Windows Server 2008/Windows Server 2008 R2, time for setup of managed machines is shortened than before in case of OS installation by disk duplication. DPM client version can be confirmed in Linux environment.
