22 New feature from Ver6.1 Searching DPM Server from DPM Client In case that DPM Client can not connect to DPM Server due to DPM Server IP address change, DPM Client searches DPM Server automatically, which realize to migrate from test environment to production environment without any setting on DPM Client side. In addition to that DPM Client searches DPM Server even if DPM Server IP address is not set during DPM Client installation process. By this feature, master image created one DPM Server can be used from another DPM Server if you make master image doesn t include IP address information. DPM port customization You can modify port number for DPM connection, which enable to avoid port confliction with another application. You can modify port number changing specific file in DPM Server. Port number used by DPM Client is also managed on that file. DPM Client connects to DPM Server using default port number on booting process. In case DPM Client can not connect to DPM Server, DPM Client downloads port number configuration file(port.ini) and then get port number in connection with DPM Server using Well-known port. Full sector option on backup/restore scenario can be set from web console. Multiple machine group or scenario group can be deleted at one time.
