1 MMSlog RFID KANBAN BOX MMSlog RFID KANBAN BOX FOR REMOTE SCANNING OF KANBAN ORDER The MMSlog RFID Kanban Box KANBAN remote order tag scanning system comprises: o Impact resistant ABS plastic housing case. Removable tag drawer with hinged lid. o Interior hardware for RFID-UHF tag-scanning (scanner and antenna), audible error alert and warning light indicator to confirm correct scanning, and scanner mode selection switch (order - inventory). The internal hardware is protected against external damage o 10,1 LCD capacitative touchscreen with 1.280x800 resolution. The device is connected to MMSlog KMS, the RFID tag-scanning software management system and Kanban management order service and storage system. The device has access to the following options: system activity, system statistics, tags inserted, stock damage and replenishment. Additional functions can be installed upon request. The MMSlog RFID Kanban Box System works on an adjustable frequency range of between 860 and 960 MHz, complying with CE European standards (ETSI: MHz, ERP) and American standards (FHSS MHz, 4W, EIRP). Both operate outside the band range used for medical equipment (2-15 MHz). The MMSlog RFID Kanban Box has a capacity of over 250 tags, and has external dimensions of 270*206*440 m m VAC Electrical supply MHz frequency. The device works on 12VDC, maximum 2 amps. 10 Base-T/100 Base-TX ethernet connection.

2 This document explains the functions and characteristics of the MMSlog RFID Kanban Box for logistical warehouse product management using the Kanban, or double.drawer system. FEATURES The MMSlog RFID Kanban Box is an RDIF scanning unit which allows realtime requests/scanning of Kanban tags/orders sent from the service warehouse of the central product warehouse. The MMSlog RFID Kanban Box is compact which allows it to be easily installed in a service warehouse Note: The MMSlog RFID Kanban Box requires a 220/240V electical current suuply. and an ethernet or wireless network connection for remote connection of the software panel.

3 FUNCTIONALITIES The system includes the following modes and functions: System Activity: Default setting. The user can observe all tags scanned by the system, identifying in each case the type of tag that has been scanned including information on the product and user-type (replenisher or unrecognized). Statistics: Within the statistics section, the user can quickly observe system trends. Data shown includes delivery-chute use for the last 15/20 days grouped by time/date.

4 Inserted tags: Within this section the user can see which tags have been inserted and are currently inside the device. Out-of-stock products: In this option the user can observe which products are currently outof-stock in the system. which occurs when both types of tag have been inserted (standard and urgent). Inventory: The user can see which products have been replenished,with the products which have not yet been delivered shown as pending, according to the data from the tags which have been scanned.

High-Priority: The scanned tag is deposited in the draw assigned by the tag s priority Receipt of closed-order requests When an SGA/SGC makes a request to the Kanban Box for an order to be closed, the active drawer is changed. Inventory mode Inventory mode activated when a replenisher s RFID tag is detected Visible alert that inventory mode has been activated. Inventory mode activated when delivery-chute door is opened. Tag insertion blocked while inventory mode is active Security All access to applications, the Kanban box, and system communication is username and password-controlled. INTEGRATION The MMSlog RFID Kanban Box can be used in conjunction with other consumer management systems using a standard Web Services interface. The Kanban Box can be accessed using a web browser (Firefox, IE, Chrome etc.) Some of the messages that the Kanban Box may receive from the Consumer Software Management (CSM) are: Settings: the CSM can check and adjust the parameter settings of the Kanban Box. Log query: the CSM can request the scanned tag data for a selected time period. Tag-scanning: The Kanban Box passes on the data of each tag scanned to the CSM. Order closure: The CSM can request an order to be closed.
