9 Multipurpose Mobile Device Labs Summary (Mobile Devices and carts) All Schools Mobile Device Mobile devices currently consist of Chromebooks and Apple ipads. These devices will be deployed during a district wide deployment rather than a year by year deployment. Chromebooks were deployed in spring and summer 206 and Apple ipads are planned for spring 207. 30 Campus Formula Funds for Technology Equipment $8.00 per student for equity, includes ES, MS, HS, and Alternative Schools All Schools Campus Formula Funds are made available to purchase equipment to meet campus technology needs. All equipment purchased must be listed on the Technology Acquisitions website. This website lists digital cameras, camcorders, audio equipment, classroom performance systems ( clickers ), digital slates, ipods, interactive whiteboards, computers, flat screen monitors, laminators and many other hardware devices. No supplies may be purchased with these funds. The only software that may be purchased is the software required when purchasing a new computer, Microsoft Office and Inspiration. Every 5 years, to align with the redeployment cycle The campus should work with their Project Manager to develop a list of equipment they want to order. Technology Acquisitions will prepare requisitions to purchase equipment and work with the campus to close out purchase orders and track expenditures. If equipment requires installation, this cost must be included in total budget. Note: 800-student elementary school = $4,800;,400-student middle school = $8,400; 2,800-student high school = $6,800.
