2 Introduction Though the Fremont campus may be near or far, you can always perform quality research using scholarly resources available through Terra State!

3 The Library at Terra State Located on the 3 rd floor of building B, the library offers print and electronic resources, computers for student use, and study spaces for individuals and groups. Visit the library homepage to search the library catalog or explore our online resources

4 Terra s Library Catalog Use the library catalog to find available: Scholarly and Popular Books Books-on-CD / Books-on-Tape CDs DVDs EBooks

5 Search the Catalog from the Library Homepage! Search by keyword, title, or author by clicking a tab at the top of the search box, then insert you search word or phrase. Click Search to see your results!

6 Find your item on the shelf! Items marked with an Available status can be checked out from the Terra Library! Use the item s unique Call # to locate it on the library shelves or click Request to have library staff reserve it for you at the circulation desk. Didn t find what you were looking for? Continue your search in OhioLINK!

7 Terra State & OhioLINK The library at Terra State is a member of OhioLINK, a group of college and university libraries throughout the state that have come together to share resources and support Ohio college students in many ways!

8 OhioLINK As an OhioLINK student, you can: Visit other OhioLINK libraries to borrow books! Have your Terra State Student ID card with you to check out as a visiting OhioLINK patron For a list of OhioLINK Libraries visit: Request items and choose the most convenient pick-up location! Perform research at home using the online databases available through OhioLINK!

9 Requesting OhioLINK Materials Visit the OhioLINK Library Catalog to search for additional books, ebooks, CDs, DVDs, and other library materials by keyword, subject, author, or title!

10 Explore the resources available to you! When you search a topic, title, or author you can learn more about individual items by following the blue hyperlinks, or click the green Request button next to the item to request it right away!

11 Request an item! Select Terra Com Col as your school or institution to identify yourself as a Terra State Community College student.

12 Choose where you will pick up your book! After entering your full name and Social Security # with hyphens to verify who you are, select the location where you will pick up your item when it is ready. For example, if you live in Tiffin, choosing Heidelberg as your pick-up institution may be more convenient than driving to the Terra campus in Fremont. Click Submit!

13 Receive confirmation for your request! Click the Log off link in the upper left corner to complete your request, or click the Regular Display button and return to your search s results to request more items!

14 Need more resources? Try SearchOhio! Click the SearchOhio icon along the top of the screen to search and request materials from a group of large Ohio public libraries! This a great resource for finding popular items such as CDs, DVDs, and leisure reading books that may not be available through our local collection or OhioLINK.

15 Manage Your Library Account You can manage your library record online by logging in at View and renew your checked-out books! Cancel or check the status of your requests!

16 Online Databases Online, or electronic, databases offer scholarly resources that can be used as references within your research papers. Access the EBSCO databases right from the Library homepage and try it out! With off-campus log-in, these are available 24/7 and right at your fingertips!
