1 Want the *GUIDED* tour? 12 x12 layouts are great, and 8.5 x11 layouts are great too - BUT what if you want to great something that you can print (or have printed) right to standard photo paper? Shouldn t there be a way to make sure you page fits??? Well, good news THERE IS - and today, I am going to show you exactly how it s done to get great results every time! There are projects that are meant for photobooks and there are projects that aren t. Sometimes we create a layout, for a one page project gift. We don t want it lost in a book of great layouts, it s meant to stand on it s own - so we create it with the idea that *this* one s gonna hang on the wall! There is a super quick and easy way to make sure that you create a layout that you can print at home - OR that you can send out to be professionally printed that you will be happy with. With a couple of quick and easy steps, you really can create your own works of art for your home or to give as the ULTIMATE gift for Grandma! Just watch those brownie points stack up! Here are some quick and easy steps you can use to make sure your page layouts will fit to the size and shape/ orientation photo

Open your project page (or start a new album) Select VIEW from the top menu then choose GUIDE from the drop down menu Select

(**IT IS ESPECIALLY HELPFUL TO ADD THE PHOTO ALBUM GUIDES AT THE START OF A PROJECT YOU WILL HAVE PRINTED TO A PHOTOBOOK AS WELL**) Now, anything on the page that is inside the safe zone will appear when I save this page and print it to a 4x6 sheet of photo paper If you wish to use a PORTRAIT ORIENTATION LAYOUT for printing - start with a PORTRAIT ORIENTATION album project and add the GUIDES in the same way as above, it will allow the upright orientation of your page! 2

Click the SHARE ALBUM menu at the top of your screen Select EXPORT TO JPEG Select the page(s) you wish to save for printing (you can choose SELECT ALL if you want them all) Click NEXT Select and EXPORT IMAGE SIZE (remember larger files give you better enlarging options, but take more time to load) Select your IMAGE QUALITY (remember larger files take longer to load but will give better results in larger prints) 3

This screen provides your export settings for your review - might make a note of where your JPEGS will store for future reference! This box will appear to show you the status of the EXPORT PROCESS, obviously the more pages you export the longer this will take - and if your pages are heavily embellished or full of photos - this will take longer! This message appears when you have successfully created the JPEGs of your pages! See how easy that was??? 4

5 When you are ready to print your pages to photo paper (or to upload them to send out) You can find them in the location that they are saved - mine are in my documents folder. They will fall right under the PROJECT FILE with the addition of the _jpeg extension. This shows me which is the MMS project folder and which has my page images. Page images do NOT store IN the MMS project file! Select the page(s) you wish to print Make you photo paper SIZE and FINISH selections and make sure if you have the option to choose FIT PICTURE TO FRAME (or some equivalent) that you choose that so the area you have selected will fill the printing area on your photo paper (full page photo) The *AMAZING* graphics used in the design of this PDF are from the Love Shack kit by the incredibly talented TheEttes! Shop them by name in the MMS Design Shop! 5
