3 Outages January Performance Issues: Upload of document management capability reported as non functioning again on 4 Jan 17, 2 hrs prior to critical power outage Root Cause: Weblogic security patches within the 30 Dec 16 monthly IAVA blocked documents transmission and prevented document uploading Impact: Document management upload capability not functioning for Service Members and PPPO/JPPSO Unscheduled Outages: 4 6 Jan: Scott AFB critical power failure (51 hrs, 31 mins) DPS operational; however, inaccessible due to ETA outage 6 Jan: De installed Dec IAVA patch LINUX server (25 mins) 11 Jan: De installed Dec IAVA patch Weblogic servers (2 hrs) Re instated document management upload functionality Lessons Learned: DISA updated procedures to provide PMO/developer a detailed list of all vendor patches; ensures proper testing in development environment to assess impact prior to Production deployment Scheduled Outages: 27 Jan: January IAVA (2 hrs, 17 mins) 3

11 Foreign National Access On 6 May 2016, USTRANSCOM received a one year exception to policy from DoD for DPS foreign national access Previously, a three year waiver was granted USTRANSCOM does not anticipate that a subsequent exception to policy will be granted once the existing exception expires on 27 Sep 2017 If access is denied, TSP agents in OCONUS locations that are not authorized ECA certificates will no longer be able to access DPS Impacts approximately <~50 users However, determining if local PPSOs/JPPSOs can vouch for the FN and sign required form to receive ECA certificates Once confirmed, PMO will coordinate with SDDC to advise impacted TSPs and users; update to be provided mid/late

12 ECA Vendors Ceasing Operations Symantec no longer selling External Certificate Authority (ECA) certificates August 16, 2016 End of Sale: No new ECA certificates will be issued August 16, 2016 End of Renewal: Symantec will stop renewals for all the existing certificates August 17, 2017 End of Life: All certificates will expire or are revoked. Symantec ECA operations will cease Symantec established relationship with IdenTrust for certificate purchase: 12
