1 Deal Registration Programs Brocade Deal Registration Programs are designed to encourage the profitability and success of our partners when selling eligible Brocade products. They reward partners who actively identify, develop and win new business. 2 HOW TO REGISTER A DEAL Deal Registration discounts are only available to APN partners who are the first to complete the following process: Register the opportunity You need to register approved opportunities at least fifteen (15) days before you close the deal. If you are a Brocade Distributor, Elite or Premier partner, you can do this online, using the Deal Registration tool at If you are a Select partner, your Brocade Authorized Distributor should register the deal on your behalf. You will need to supply the following information: Your company name Your name and contact information End user name Opportunity details Configuration, expected close date, and size of deal Project or department name await approval from Brocade Once the deal is confirmed and approved by Brocade, you or your distributor will receive an approval notice. The deal is then protected for six (6) full months. Close deal and receive discount Close the deal and receive your approved discount when placing your order with your Brocade Authorized Distributor. 3 IP NETWORKING DEAL REGISTRATION PROGRAM Expires October 26, 2013 Specifically designed to protect resellers pre-sales investments, the Brocade IP Networking Deal Registration Program offers deal protection on qualified Brocade-branded IP networking opportunities with aggressive discounts off MSRP. Discounts IP Networking Elite Premier Select MSRP Discount* 12% 10% 7% *Discounts must be applied at line level of purchase order. All IP networking products qualify Minimum Requirements When registering adapters, a minimum quantity of five (5) is required. To Benefit from this Program 1. Register the opportunity 2. 4 SAN REGISTRATION PROGRAM Expires October 26, To maximize valued partner s pre-sales investments, Brocade offers deal protection for selected Brocade 16 Gbps and 8 Gbps SAN Switches and Brocade Fabric Adapters, through the SAN Registration Program. 5 Terms and Conditions All opportunities must be submitted via the Deal Registration Tool, all required information must be submitted for consideration Brocade reserves the right to reject any registration submission Deal Registration opportunities MAY NOT be combined with special pricing requests (Deals Desk/DDO) or other sales programs (excluding MDF, VIP, or Brocade Rewards for IP networking) the first partner to submit a new opportunity that is approved is the only partner eligible to close the deal; all other submissions for the same opportunity will be rejected All opportunities must be registered at least 15 days prior to closure of the deal, and must be closed within the specified time for each deal registration program Failure by any partner to comply with the Brocade Deal Registration Program Terms and Conditions may result in ineligibility to receive rebates or discounts for eligible products Deals/opportunities cannot be moved to a new Distributor once registered in no event shall Brocade be liable for any consequential, incidental, indirect, special, or punitive damages of any kind, however caused and on any theory of liability Brocade will use every effort to prohibit duplicate deal registration approvals, but in the event that a duplicate approval is issued, Brocade will honor the opportunity that was submitted first (determined by the submission time stamp in the Deal Registration Tool) Brocade reserves the right to refuse the grandfathering in of existing opportunities if the program is modified Brocade reserves the right to cancel or refuse partner participation in this program Brocade reserves the right to modify or terminate this program at any time the program is delivered as is.
