3 Now: how you print it? [There are simple methods to do this, but it needs additional information not learned yet] So do it as follows: The value of binary representation to be printed, is to CONSTRUCT the binary representation, as if it is, in decimal representation, evaluate it as the sum of: 1*pow(10,0) +1*pow(10,1)+0*pow(10,2)+ 0*pow(10,3)+1*pow(10,4) And the value of binary representation for printing purposes is: = What is the meaning of [IS PRIME?] CHECH IF THE NUMBER READ IS PRIME OR NOT IF PRIME THEN PRINT "YES" AND IF NUMBER READ IS NOT PRIME THEN PRINT "NO" Definition: A number is called prime number if and only if, its divisors are only the value 1 and the number itself Example-1: if the number read is 19, then this number is only divisible by 1 and 19, so it is prime Example-2: if the number is 9, then it is not prime, because 9 is divisible by 1, 9 and also 3 AND SO ON In terms of C/C++ programming language, we can apply the following algorithm: Assume the number read is called: num, and assume num is greater than 1 [NOTE 2 IS PRIME], then: do it in this straight forward method: [there are other methods which minimize computer time]: perform the following FOR loop : int flag=0; if (num == 2 ) printf( "Yes"); else for (int i=2;i<num;i++) { if ( num % i == 0 ) { printf("no"); flag=1; break ; } if (flag==0) printf("yes"); else printf("no"); } To minimize the computer execution time for the above statements, then replace the [for] statement for (int i=2;i<num;i++) by for (int i=2 ;i < num/2 ;i++) Learn techniques used in the above statements SUM OF COMPONENTS: It is the sum of components of the number read

4 Example: if the number read is 19, then it is known in previous step the component of the number 19 as: 1 and 9 So, the sum of components is: and the result is SUM OF 1"S IN BINARY #: The sum of ones digits in binary representation of the number Example: If the number read is 19 in decimal, and its binary representation as described before is 10011, then the number of 1"s digits in this representation is:3 =========================================================== 7- At the end of the report, you should calculate and print: SUM OF ALL COMPONENTS: ***** Example: the result should be the sum of results in the table as : =???? SUM OF ALL 1"S : ***** Example: the result is the sum of all 1"s in the above table as: =???? MAXIMUM VALUE OF THE NUMBERS SCANNED:***** Example: if the numbered read were: 19, 15, 8, 13, 3, 6 only, then the maximum is : 19 THE AVERAGE OF ALL NUMBERED SCANNED : ********* Example; if the number of values scanned found to be 6 as an example, [you have to count how many value scanned in the while statement], then THE AVERAGE OF ALL NUMBERED SCANNED = their sum divided by of the number of values read [as float or double or anything of type real+ Do not count the last one which has value <= 0 which terminate the reading loop 8-THE MINIMUM NUMBER SCANNED: ***** The same as the above, but the minimum value For simplicity, enter numbers, where each consists at most 4 integer digits Check you program for cases as: 19,15,8,65,,0 *how many?
