4 General Introduction EasyMax 102 and 402 Chemistry Made Easy Run reactions without an ice bath, oil bath, heating mantle or cryostat. Touch screen provides control of reaction parameters at all times, including changing preprogramed conditions when unattended. Explore new reaction conditions and innovative chemistry by setting temperature to any point from 40 C to 180 C. Interchangeable sleeves and reactors provide flexibility at volumes from 0.5 ml to 400 ml. Record all reaction conditions, making it easy to export data or repeat identical experiments. Incorporating Heat Flow Calorimetry into synthesis workstations allows scientists to perform safety screening. Optimal Usability EasyMax is a personal parallel synthesis workstation developed for organic chemists and engineers. It has two vessels that operate independently from each other. Because of the unique solid state thermostat principle, oil baths, ice baths and cryostats are not needed, control is done via an easy-to-use touchscreen which even allows for preprogramming and unattended execution of reaction steps Increase Your Application Range The EasyMax allows researchers to perform innovative chemistry or explore reaction conditions and by setting any temperature from 40 C to 180 C. Many reactors types can be chosen in the volume range from 0.5 ml to 400 ml. All important reaction data is displayed on the touch screen and optional data export is available after experiment are completed. Increased Personal Safety Personal safety is ensured by controlling all parameters via remote touchscreen without opening the hood. Active temperature control allows chemists to run exothermic reactions without significant temperature increase, and formation of unstable byproducts is avoided by holding temperature constant while dosing. Basic and Advanced Configurations With the Basic configuration, EasyMax 102 or 402 includes touchscreen control capabilities. Expanded functionality such as PC control, programmed task sequences, and software integration, are available with the Advanced configuration. Several software packages upgrade EasyMax 102/402 Basic to Advanced configurations. 4
