9 FAQ Is there any registration or setup fee? Chatchat App is a VoIP extension of our IDD 1526 service. IDD 1526 is a pay-per-use service and there are no monthly subscription or setup fees. How do I register for ChatChat App? To use Chatchat App, your mobile number will have to be registered to IDD Please contact us at for more details. How do I change to another mobile number? If your mobile number has been changed, please inform us via so that your number can be updated to our system. Once your new mobile number has been updated, go to Settings and click on Re-register and enter your new mobile number and the OTP to start using. What are the per minute call charges? Please contact your Account manager for the per minute charges. What is the Caller ID display when I call out? Caller ID displayed will be the mobile number you have indicated and authenticated with the OTP. This is still subjected to the availability of this feature at the destination Telco that you are calling to. Can I use ChatChat app when I am overseas? Chatchat App can be used with a valid Data/Wifi connection that does not block the standard VoIP/SIP ports. Am I able to receive calls on ChatChat app? Chatchat App is meant for outgoing calls only. This feature might be added in the future. Troubleshooting Why am I not able to dial out when I am connected to Data? The Data connection might be unstable. Please try to reset your mobile data connection by toggling the flight mode function of your mobile phone. Why am I not able to dial out when I am connected to WiFi? Chatchat App uses Voice over Internet Protocol, it requires access to the following ports: TCP port : 443 UDP port : Please check with your administrator if the following ports are blocked. I cannot find my contacts in Contacts Option? From the Dialer screen, please click on Contacts and choose allow when prompted. Alternatively, you can go to Settings of your mobile phone followed by Apps. Go into Chatchat App and allow all permissions in it. Chatchat App need to be allowed access to your contact list in order for it to display them. 9 9
