Huawei, as one of the leaders in CDMA2000 1xEV-DO industry, deployed the largest CDMA2000 1xEV-DO network in Southeast Asia region in Thailand. Huawei deployed the first CDMA2000 1xEV-DO network in Nigeria, which is the first CDMA2000 1xEV-DO commercial network in West Africa. Huawei CDMA2000 system has been successfully commercial deployed in the United States of America, the cradle of CDMA technology. Huawei is the largest CDMA450 supplier in Russia.

5 The Largest CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Network in Southeast Asia CAT TELECOM is one of the leading telecom operators in Thailand. Dealing with international toll service and nationwide-spread transmission networks, it is the largest operator for international telephony service. Besides, CAT TELECOM is also engaged to some other services such as data, satellite communication and CDMA mobile communication. CAT TELECOM selected Huawei as its sole supplier to construct its nationwide CDMA2000 network with 1,600 CDMA2000 1X /1xEV-DO BTSs. The number of the network subscribers is closed to 4 million. That means, so far, it is the largest CDMA xEV-DO network in Southeast Asia region. The network was delivered on time by Huawei after overcoming a series of external problems such as flood during the deployment. On 26th January 2006, CAT held a celebration ceremony to launch this network in Chiang Mai, the biggest city of northernthailand, with its network operational band, Super CDMA. Thailand

7 The Largest IP-based CDMA2000 Softswitch Network Pakistan Telecommunication Co., Ltd. (PTCL) is the largest telecom operator in Pakistan. As the largest fixed service telecom operator, PTCL provides nationwide PLMN, PSTN and cable TV services. Huawei helped PTCL construct a nationwide CDMA network operated on 450 MHz and 1900 MHz, and the largest CDMA2000 softswitch network based on IP and distributed architecture with the capacity of 2.75 miilion. 8 Bangladesh CDMA2000 5/6 Successfully Serving the Largest CDMA Operators in Bangladesh PBTL, held by SingTel Asia Pacific Investments Ltd., is the largest CDMA operator in Bangladesh which is known as a pearl over water located in Southern Asia with the population of 140 million. In July 2005, after passing series of long-term testing, Huawei was selected by PBTL as its cooperation partner to deploy CDMA2000 1X/1xEV-DO network valued over hundred million US dollars and with 3.5 million network subscribers including swapping 750 thousand ones of the existing equipments. This full turnkey project, Huawei provided CDMA2000 end-to-end solution including infrastructure products, WIN, handsets, transmission products, and even civil engineering. In February 2006, the commercial network was launched by PBTL, and PBTL would concentrate on network planning and market development instead of CDMA network maintenance and its operation management and maintenance would be handled by Huawei. 11 The Most Customer-oriented CDMA2000 Network in India MTNL is an operator of fixed, GSM and CDMA2000 networks in India. Huawei helped MTNL build its CDMA2000 network. This network capacity of the first-phase construction reaches 800,000 lines (0.09Erl/subscriber), covering Indian political center New Delhi and economic center Bombay (The population of each city exceeds 15, 000,000). In this CDMA2000 network, Huawei provides abundant services based on MTNL s requirements, such as voice, intelligent, data services, roaming limitation, lawful interception. India

13 The Successful Deployment of CDMA2000 in USA NTCH Company in the USA cooperated with Huawei to release the CDMA2000 mobile network. This 1900MHz CDMA2000 1X network covers California, providing voice, data, SMS & MMS services. NTCH Company had set a series of strict test requirements. Huawei s products and system had passed them all because of excellent features and functions. Huawei CDMA2000 1X products had been certified by FCC and NEBS. The commercial application succeeded in the cradle of CDMA technology-usa, indicates that Huawei CDMA2000 1X system has already been acknowledged as an outstanding one within the 3G mobile telecommunication industry. 15 The Successful Deployment of CDMA2000 in Latin America IUSACELL, one of the leading CDMA2000 operators in Mexico, has selected Huawei to construct CDMA2000 networks for its two large serving districts in Mexico. To meet IUSACELL's requirements for service expansion from 2G to 3G, Huawei introduced hybrid Access Network solution of CDMA2000 1X and EV-DO operating on 800MHz and 1900MHz, thereby secured the future service expansion & upgrading. 17 The Largest CDMA2000 Supplier in Russia SKYLINK is the largest CDMA operator in Russia and a sole operator granted with CDMA license for nationwide operation. It accounts for above 80% market share of CDMA450 in Russia. Huawei started its cooperation with SKYLINK since 2002, and has grown to be the largest CDMA supplier and most important partner for SKYLINK. 19 The First CDMA Mobile Network in MENA Yemen CDMA network is the first end-to-end 800MHz CDMA network in MENA. Huawei provided a full set of solutions, including CDMA basic network, intelligent network, and billing system to implement voice service, SMS, MMS, PTT, data service, and prepaid services. During actual implementation, Huawei actively took part in the network construction and operation, which helped Yemen Telecom realized a successful transformation from WLL to mobile operator. The network subscribers increase very rapidly. 21 The Widely-covered CDMA WLL Network in MENA Algerie Telecom is the largest full-service operator in Algeria. 23 The First CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Commercial Network in West Africa Replacing the original network equipment with Huawei CDMA2000 products, Starcomms has expanded its wireless networks in Lagos and other major cities to cover these areas of dense population. Provided Starcomms with its customized solutions and abundant services, Huawei has swapped all previous equipment in the network in Since the first cooperation between Starcomms and Huawei in 2003, due to Huawei's quick response, good performance of Huawei CDMA2000 products, and better services, the subscribers of this network grow rapidly whose number increased from 4,000 to 220,000 in recent three years, which offered Stracomms the position-the Best PTO in Nigeria. 24 China CDMA 21/22 Large-scale Deployment of CDMA2000 Commercial Network in China China Unicom constructed CDMA networks using Huawei CDMA2000 equipment in Hebei, Xinjiang, Gansu, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, and Guangxi, serving 4 million subscribers. The base stations are now upgraded to support multi-carriers operation. China Unicom (Guangxi Branch) constructed a CDMA2000 1xEV-DO trial network in Wuzhou using Huawei CDMA2000 products.

27 The Best Way of Universal Service Tibet is one of the most complex environments in the world, featuring endless chains of mountains and rough landforms. To deliver communication services to herdsmen in remote areas, China Telecom (Tibet Branch) constructed a CDMA450 network using Huawei equipments.
