30 Interoperability Guidelines, Testing and Certification Interoperability guidelines guarantee interoperability between certain Certified Device Classes when they are correctly implemented. To confirm that guidelines are correctly implemented within devices, they need to be tested. This requires test specifications and tools to execute the corresponding conformance tests. Continua certified devices receive the certified logo. The logo signifies conformance and interoperability.
