1 Blackboard Transact Mobile eaccounts App For iphone/ipod Touch/iPad and Android Devices User Guide

2 Register yourself as a User at the online eaccounts website: First click on the following link to take you to the login page for the eaccounts website at the Card Services webpage: If you are not currently signed up for eaccounts you would login with your university address and password next and follow the instructions to get set up on this site as a user for your ID card and accounts. Once you are all registered you are ready install the mobile app. Installing eaccounts App: To install the eaccounts application on your mobile device, open the App Store or Play Store and search for Blackboard Transact Mobile eaccounts. Install the application on your device by clicking on the Free button in the App Store or Install button in the Play Store. 3 Searching for Alcorn State University: After installing the Blackboard Transact app to your Apple or Android device, tap the eaccounts icon to open the application. Tap Add a site and you will select Alcorn State University from the initial screen by going through the list or entering Alcorn State University in the search window. After selecting ASU, tap on the Gold Card button to configure ASU into your device. ios device Android device Figures 2.1 Select site and select ASU Authentication

4 Logging Into the eaccounts Portal: Tap on Alcorn State University in the Sites page. (See screenshot below). You will then be taken to the sign in screen as shown below. On subsequent uses of the application, the login screen automatically displays. Enter your Alcorn State University address and Password exactly as you would when using the eaccounts web page and tap on Go for ios or Done for android devices. ios device Android device Figure 3.1 Sign on Screen

5 ios Devices Home Menu: The Home Screen displays all the current available features in the application. A sample Home Menu screen is shown below: Figure 4.1 Home Screen Account Summary, Transaction, and Deposit: Tapping the Accounts button on the Home menu displays a list of your current accounts and balances. A sample summary screen is shown on the next page:

6 Figure 5.1 Select an Account Screen Select an account by tapping on the account name to see a list of recent transactions and/or to make a deposit. A sample account detail screen is shown below. Scroll down to see additional transactions: Figure 5.2 Gold Card Screen

7 To return to the Summary screen, tap the Accounts button in the upper left hand corner. To make a deposit, select the Make a Deposit button. A sample deposit screen is shown below. Figure 5.3 Quick Cash, Make Deposit You must have a saved payment method previously created in eaccounts using a web browser to make a deposit with the mobile eaccounts application. All valid saved payment methods are displayed as shown in the example above left. Select the desired saved payment method and then enter an amount to deposit as shown in the example above right. Tap the Make a Deposit button to process the transaction. The screen displays the transaction result and returns to the Accounts screen.

8 Deactivate Lost Card: Tapping the Lost Card button on the Home menu displays the Lost Card screen. A sample summary screen is shown below: Figure 6.1 Deactivate Card Select the card to deactivate. Tap the Deactivate Card button to immediately deactivate the selected card. This card will no longer be valid for use until it is reactivated if you locate the lost card you will need to go to the Gold Card Office to reactivate the card.

9 Android device Account Summary, Transaction, and Deposit: The Home menu displays a list of your current accounts and balances. A sample summary screen is shown below: Select an account by tapping on the account name to see a list of recent transactions and/or to make a deposit. A sample account detail screen is shown below. Scroll down to see additional transactions:

10 To return to the Summary screen, tap the Gold Card button in the upper left hand corner. To make a deposit, select the button in the upper right hand. A sample deposit screen is shown below. You must have a saved payment method previously created in eaccounts using a web browser to make a deposit with the mobile eaccounts application. All valid saved payment methods are displayed as shown in the example above left. Select the desired saved payment method and then enter an amount to deposit as shown in the example above right. Tap the Make a Deposit button to process the transaction. The screen displays the transaction result and returns to the Accounts screen.

11 Deactivate Lost Card: Tap Menu to bring up a sub-menu. Tap the Lost Card button to display the Lost Card screen. A sample summary screen is shown below: Select the card to deactivate. Tap the Deactivate Card button to immediately deactivate the selected card. This card will no longer be valid for use until it is reactivated if you locate the lost card you will need to go to the Gold Card Office to reactivate the card.
