We can help in a number of ways - whether it is advertising opportunities to our students, matching you with our students and apprentices or running tailored pre-employment training programmes designed for you. SUPPORTING TALENT DEVELOPMENT We know that businesses need to develop and nurture their people, so we offer a wide range of training courses, services and products that can help you do just that. From mandatory and regulatory training, to apprenticeships and leadership development, we can support you in developing the right skills in your business. IT AND DATA SERVICES We offer IT services including help desk and technician support, hosting of data or systems development support. We can offer one-off services, short-term help or ongoing support services. We are flexible and local and can design the support package you need. FACILITIES FOR HIRE 4 We have a wide range of facilities and rooms available for hire. As well as meeting rooms and classrooms, we have dance studios, recording studios, a TV studio, editing suite and a colour darkroom plus photography and art studios. We have a range of IT rooms with PCs and Macs plus our state-of-the-art Innovation Hub sponsored by Fujitsu. Apprentices must be employed for at least 30 hours per week Include formal and informal, on and off-the-job training Contain nationally recognised qualifications defined by employers Last for 1-2 years and sometimes longer Include the minimum wage And most of all, apprentices are flexible and will support your business needs. Apprenticeships are not just for school leavers, but they can support people of all ages to a career in a new job. Apprenticeships are available in a huge range of occupations, from Level 2 through to degree apprenticeships. All sectors and job roles are covered and there are new apprenticeships being developed all the time. New apprenticeship trailblazers and standards are being developed by employers making them even more relevant for industry. 6 There s now more flexibility than ever for you to work with us to develop the right delivery model for your business. We can wrap additional activities and qualifications around your existing training provision to create a full apprenticeship programme. Alternatively, we can design and deliver the complete training programme, which will consist of on-the-job training at work and attending classes at college. The number of classes depends on their role, the qualification and how experienced they are. Typically an apprentice might spend four days at work and one day in college each week.
