1 Digital I/O with OptoIsolation PCI Express DIO6464LPE This product is a PCI Express buscompliant interface board used to provide a digital signal I/O function on a PC. This product can input and digital signals at 2 24VDC. This product features 64 Optocoupler isolated inputs and 64 Optocoupler isolated opencollector s. You can use 6 input signals as interrupt inputs. In addition, the digital filter function to prevent wrong recognition of input signals is provided and transistor protection circuit (surge voltage protection and overcurrent protection). Windows/Linux driver is bundled with this product. You can use 6 input signals as interrupt request signals. 4 Connecting Input signals Connect the input signals to a device which can be currentdriven, such as a switch or transistor device. The connection requires an external power supply to feed currents. The board inputs the ON/OFF state of the currentdriven device as a digital value. Input Circuit optocoupler Plus Input Pin Circuit 2 24 VDC Connecting Signals Connect the signals to a currentdriven controlled device such as a relay or LED. The connection requires an external power supply to feed currents. The board controls turning on/off the currentdriven controlled device using a digital value. This product input circuit of interface is illustrated in the image above. The signal inputs are isolated by Optocoupler (ready to accept current sinking signals). The board theree requires an external power supply to drive the inputs. The power requirement each input pin is about 5.mA at 24VDC (about 2.6mA at 2VDC). Poly Minnus This product circuit of interface is illustrated in the image above. The signal section is an Optocoupler isolated, opencollector (current sink type). Driving the section requires an external power supply. The rated current per channel is 00mA at maximum. The section can also be connected to a TTL level input as it uses a lowsaturated transistor. The residual voltage (lowlevel voltage) between the collector and emitter with the on is 0.5V or less at an current within 50mA or at most.0v at an current within 00mA. A zener diode is connected to the transistor protection from surge voltages. A Polybased overcurrent protector is provided every eight transistors. When the overcurrent protector works, the section of the board is temporarily disabled. If this is the case, turn of the power to the PC and the external power supply and wait a few minutes, then turn them on back. CAUTION When the PC is turned on, all are reset to OFF.
