INTELLIGENT MANAGEMENT With the KeyCon system each key is identified in the key cabinet. Each key ring has a KeyCon peg attached, which is inserted in the key cabinet strips. All events are logged by the system and provide the administrator with total control. 6 There is a KeyBox to meet every need our cabinet series keybox offers a choice of function and cabinet size to hold several hundred key rings, or just a few the choice is yours. KeyBox comes in three versions, with System series (S) the flexible system functions adapted to suit varying where the keypad is complemented needs. In addition, you can choose between three cabinet sizes, each able to be complemented with expansion with a display to provide a good overview and simple, menu-based programming. It can handle 1,200 different basic series (B). our basic series with keypads comes in three smaller models and one larger model. cabinets. Also available with KeyCon. KEYCON SERIES 9600 series a floor model, able to cater for large quantities. This KeyCon cabinet holds almost 450 keys in four pull-out sections. Also available as a two section model. 8 keywin is the intelligent and user-friendly windows program that controls all the features and functions of the keybox cabinets. keywin comes in two versions: for cabinets in the system series (s) and for keycon cabinets (sc) KeyWin the brain behind the intelligent KeyBox PROGRAMMING KeyWin is a Windows program that makes even the most complicated and comprehensive key management system a piece of cake for anyone to use. The program can be used to control, in principle, an unlimited number of keys in many different cabinets, even remotely. EVENT LOG The program has been developed to be as user-friendly as possible. It is easy to gain an overview and to find your way among the log files showing the key events. You can easily filter events so as to show those related to an individual user or key holder. It is also easy to obtain status reports that show, for example, which keys are out at the moment and which a specific user has checked out. With KeyWin it is easy to program even the most complicated rules for dictating key access. In matrix view, with users and key holders in rows and columns, you can easily see who has access to what. In time channel view access periods can be managed in an easy fashion via a graphic timetable. In KeyWin SC (for cabinets with the KeyCon system) there is an additional graphic view that shows the key holders in the cabinet. By clicking a specific key holder, you get current and past information regarding just that key. matrix view. The matrix view allows you to quickly and easily gain an overview of the key holders that each user has access to. time channels. the programming of time channels enables you to control the times that the specific keys are to be accessible, such as in conjunction with working hours. total control. keybox is the system that makes it easy to have total control of your key management. from cabinet display and key holders to the easy-to-use windows program keywin. 8

KeyCon the key system for the new millennium It s the KeyCon peg s unique identity that is the key its many possibilities, as intelligent peg. The intelligence is provided by the unique identity of the KeyCon peg which enables all the various key security functions. it is through the peg that the system can identify each key ring individually. And control all key management with surgical precision. However, there are other intelligent system components: The KeyCon strip inside the cabinet senses and identifies each individual key peg when it is inserted. The strip also shows which key or keys are available depending on the user PIN entered. The cabinet senses and identifies the KeyCon strips in the cabinet. New strips can be easily mounted and connected to the system as needed. The PC program KeyWin SC provides an overview and makes it easy to program the system. ADVANTAGES Each user receives a personal PIN to access the key cabinet. The system is then programmed to show which keys the user has access to. If the user takes the wrong key the cabinet sounds an alarm. If you want to know who has a particular key, it is easy to use the system to see who retrieved the key and when. SECURITY KEY RING Security key ring for KeyCon is available as an accessory. The size of the ring is adapted to the bunch of keys and then sealed so that it cannot be removed without tools. The ring is made from a strong, flexible plastic and is available in different colours. 11

12 Expand as you like with KeyBox expandable each keybox is built to grow with the task. this is why you can easily create additional space in a cabinet by adding keycon strips or up to 15 extra cabinets. With KeyBox you can expand your key storage facility as your needs dictate, by adding additional cabinets (applies to Basic, System and KeyCon series). The expansion cabinets are controlled via the control unit within the first cabinet. NETWORK TCP/IP Several of our models can be expanded for communication via TCP/IP, the standard used in PC networks and even on the Internet. By using an existing PC network over TCP/IP you gain many advantages: No need to run special cables to key cabinet connections, as network cables are often already installed throughout the building. TCP/IP is a reliable standard that even functions over great distances (large workplaces). Monitoring of the PC network means that communication problems can be diagnosed quickly.
