4 Benefit from Unprecedented Adaptability! Distech Controls is pleased to announce that its RCL/RCB-PFC Series are now shipping. RCL-PFC and RCB-PFC Series are microprocessor-based configurable controllers designed to control a wide variety of HVAC terminal units such as fan coil units, radiators, chilled beams, chilled ceilings, etc. + + RCL & RCB-PFC-107/108: for on-off or thermal valves (230VAC or 24V depending on the model) / fan coil (3 speeds) or chilled beam applications. RCL & RCB-PFC-207/208: for on-off, thermal or 0-10V valves / fan coil (3 or variable speeds) or chilled beam applications / Air quality management. RCL-PFC-209: dedicated to control 0-10V valves / fan coil (3 or variable speeds) or chilled beam applications / Air quality management. Available in late November. All HVAC configurable controllers are expandable with Lighting and Sunblind control modules (RCx- Light and RCx-Blind) to control up to 4 lights and 4 sunblinds, creating a single modular system for optimal energy savings. Lighting and Sunblind RCx Add-on modules are plug-and-play together via daisychain wiring and a digital communication bus (RJ9-RJ11). RCL-PFC use the latest LONWORKS 2.0 technology, including the new FT-5000 Neuron chip from Echelon (which eliminates LNS credit costs) and are LONMARK certified as SCC Fan Coil controllers. The RCB-PFC controllers use the BACnet communication protocol and are WSPCert certified as BACnet Application Specific Controllers (B-ASC). eu.bac Certification: Up to 15% of Energy Savings! 12 FCC/SRC/IRC Series Continuance In order to allow you to continue to support existing installations, Distech Controls will keep offering the LONWORKS FCC/SRC/IRC-4xx Series in After Sales Service and the FCC/SRC/IRC-3xx while stock lasts. As the new BACnet MS/TP products and lighting & sunblind add-on modules are fully compatible with the former series, from now on, Distech Controls is only offering the new models. Please note that the color of the FCC/SRC/IRC s headers and terminals is now grey. The technical specification remains unchanged. For the installations equipped with FCC/SRC/IRC controllers, the RCL/RCB-PFC can be added to the installation or replace a FCC/SRC/IRC. Starting January 1 st, 2013, any order of the LONWORKS FCC/SRC/IRC Series will be automatically switched to the RCL-PFC Series unless otherwise indicated (products for After Sales Service or site continuance). 13 Complementary Products LNS plug-in and Wizard AX The RCL/RCB-PFC can be configured using whether LNS -based plug-in or the EC-Net AX wizard, powered by the Niagara AX Framework. Either way, a configuration interface exists that simplifies the setup of HVAC, lighting and sunblind applications through an intuitive menu-based user interface. Open-to-Wireless TM The RCL/RCB-PFC Series features embedded wireless communication capabilities enabled via the RFR receiver module. Distech Controls Open-to-Wireless TM solutions facilitate wireless communication in any environment and optimize the flexibility of any building automation system. Our Open-to-Wireless TM offering features embedded wireless communication capabilities for all LONWORKS RCL-PFC series and BACnet RCB-PFC Series controllers. All controllers are available for 868 MHz EnOcean wireless communication standards. 13
