1 Datasheet Smart-Sense Room Room Application for iphone, ipad, and Android devices Overview Applications The Smart-Sense Room application provides precise environmental zone control for temperature, fan speed, lighting and shades / sunblinds with the following controller applications: Fan coil units Roof top units Heat pumps Variable air volume boxes Unit ventilators Lighting and shade / sunblind applications The Smart-Sense Room free application is an easy-to-use, intuitive, and friendly tool used to manage temperature, occupancy, fan speed, lighting and shades / sunblinds. It provides full remote access to your room settings in any circumstances for enhanced flexibility and convenient management. Developed from the Allure RS-Smart-Sense Room Device, the Smart-Sense Room application presents an optimized interface for an immediate remote control of each comfort parameter as well as instant access to one of the four predefined scene configurations. These integrated scenes can be easily assigned to recall specific settings depending on the type of room or office space. The innovative ECO-Vue leaf pattern graphically indicates energy consumption in real time to promote an occupant s energy-conscious behavior. The Smart-Sense Room application is designed to interface natively with Distech s LonWorks and controllers monitored by an EC-BOS AX. A Demo mode is also available to familiarize yourself with the various functionalities offered. 2 ECO-Vue Icon Distech s recognizes that the human factor must be considered when designing a building for energy efficiency. To encourage occupants to be as green as possible, the Smart-Sense Room application has an ECO-Vue icon that can be programmed to show more leaves when the occupant chooses a setpoint that reduces energy use. This helps to promote awareness for energy consciousness and to save operational costs. The full color, touch sensitive color screen and intuitive interface provide real-time control of temperature, fan speed, lighting, shades / sunblinds, and occupancy management.
