Fundamentals of any successful partnership are based on three pillars: a) Whether there is any conflict with the partner or not? b) Whether the partner is capable or not? c) Whether the partner is willing for the partnership or not? 11 DELHI MUMBAI INDUSTRIAL CORRIDOR (DMIC): THE LARGEST SYMBOL OF CO-OPERATION BETWEEN INDIA AND JAPAN DMIC, was based on the Vision Ideation Evangelize Incubate Incorporate model and executed as a PPP with the untiring efforts of India Center. An MoU relating to DMIC was signed between the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan and Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) of India. Vision: (1) To re-establish India s industrial culture that was lost during by British colonization (2) To create a globally competitive, strong economic base with state-of-the-art infrastructure to activate local commerce, enhance foreign investments and attain sustainable development (3) To be developed as a Model Industrial Corridor of international standard (4) To transform the DMIC region into a Global Manufacturing and Trading Hub WHAT IS THE DELHI MUMBAI INDUSTRIAL CORRIDOR (DMIC)?
12 DELHI- MUMBAI INDUSTRIAL CORRIDOR (DMIC) A large-scale project that aims to establish a 1483 km Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) between Delhi and Mumbai 150 km on both sides of this Freight Corridor to be developed as the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Will pass through 6 states: U.P., Delhi (NCR), Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra Is being equipped with an array of infrastructure facilities such as power facilities, rail connectivity and ports WHAT ARE THE GUIDING PRINIPLES BEHIND THE REALIZATION OF DMIC?
