18 Inspection Services Inspection Services Initial Production Check (IPC) When 5-10% goods are produced, a check on the quality of components, materials and finished products is carried out at the commencement of production as per client s specifications and sample. During Production Check (DUPRO) When at least 25-40% of the order has been completed, checks on the quality of components, materials and finished products are carried out. Final Random Inspection (FRI) When the total consignment is completed and packed, a detailed inspection of randomly selected samples is carried out to check the quality, quantity and packaging conformity as per samples and specifications. Loading Supervision (LS) / Container Stuffing (CS) Containers are inspected for cleanliness and product suitability and also to ensure that the lot being shipped is suitably packed in its entirety. Also to ensure that the goods that were checked during FRI are being shipped. Hygiene Inspection (HI) Food safety inspections and audits concerning personnel hygiene, building and equipment sanitation as well as food handling, Process inspections and audits concerning all processes in the production areas like food production, equipment, bonded and non-bonded stores, dispatch and transport. 29/07/2013 Consumer Products Slide 18
